Hi!
This might seem a little presumptious of me, especially since I'm relatively new to GeoCaching. However, on a recent trip up "Bare Mountain" in the Pioneer Valley very early in the morning, I stopped at an overlook facing East and snapped a quick picture of the valley beneath me. It was a very cool, crisp morning with nice, rolling mist in the background. When I returned home and loaded the pic on my computer, I was frankly stunned at how nice the picture turned out.
Here it is: 6-21-06 - View looking East halfway up Bare Mtn. [GCW825]
I think it would be a good fit for the site's banner gallery and would love to find a way to bring it to the attention of the site admins for use in the banner gallery. Again, I know "nominating" my own picture might be a little .... ummm ... self congratulatory. However, not being a professional photographer, I was happy with the result and would love to share it with others. At the very least, I welcome your comments.
All the best,
Matt
