  1. I use mine on my bike. Its fun to check elevation profiles and such. It also helps to know "how far is it!" I haven't seen many other people doing this yet, but as they catch on, I'm sure they will. On my way to the Mt. St. Helens Visitor Center.
  2. I like using the Lost Outdoors website.
  3. I tried geocaching with the Pharos and Ostia software and hated it. Try using OziEplorer CE software (you can't run both programs at the same time). If you can figure out how to get the maps and calibrate them, it makes a great geocaching tool. OziExplorer
  4. I’m amazed at all the creative and artistic ideas you Geocachers have! We were inspired by SBPhishy’s item. I have some vague childhood memories of Shrinky Dinks. Here is what we came up with. BTW, is there an easier way to post photos?
  5. How about a poem? "Lost" by David Wagoner Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here, And you must treat it as a powerful stranger, Must ask permission to know it and be known. The forest breathes. Listen. It answers, I have made this place around you. If you leave it, you may come back again, saying Here. No two trees are the same to Raven. No two branches are the same to Wren. If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you, You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows Where you are. You must let it find you.
