  1. Are you using Windows Server + Firefox? Seems to be a weird bug only with that setup. We're looking into it. Let me know if you have a different setup. I'm seeing the same thing using Mac OS X and Safari.
  2. The Massapequa Preserve is owned by Nassau County. Not sure who you would contact, why don't you try asking some of the cache owners who have hides there? Jones Beach is a state park. You need to fill out an application for a permit and mail it to the Long Island Region Headquarters. They usually take about 2 weeks to get back to you. Permits Belmont Lake State Park 625 Belmont Avenue Babylon, NY 11702 Edit to add: Tackapausha Preserve is operated by the Nassau County Department of Recreation and Parks. I believe some of the museum employees are Geocachers, you may want to stop there and ask.
  3. I guess I know who one of the 30 watchers are now (and, no, I can't really bring myself to care much about this) Busted! LOL! But that said... its baaaack! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...b7-dce5f7348b7c Yeah, but the two bar codes are identical!
  4. There's an option button at the top right side of this page where you can choose from 3 different display modes.
  5. Numbers fanatic seems to be a good fit.
  6. Is it just me or did that not make any sense? GZ? Ground Zero? Makes more sense after reading the cache page.
  7. I'll second Sight Unseen, it's one you'll never forget.
  8. Take a loook here http://support.Groundspeak.com/Support/ind...380&nav=0,7 Edit: and good luck...
  9. Hi SnowBird, plenty of us around and lots more can be found at ligeocaching.com
  10. Try these search terms on Google +challenge +cache +arizona site:geocaching.com
  11. You have to generate a "My Finds" Pocket Query. http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/
  12. Same here. If you go back to page 1 from page 2 or 3, it occurs there also.
  13. I've seen a couple of posts in the last month or so where Groundspeak employees have said that they logged in as another member to troubleshoot some problem. This made me wonder if Lackeys have access to my password. I ask because I often use the same or similar passwords at multiple sites. I know, not a good idea, but I'm sure I'm not the only one to do this.
  14. Stay alert and be careful out there folks... CNN.com article
  15. With that in mind, would you consider this cache to be promoting and agenda? Leave No Trace
  16. This may give you some idea cacherstats.com
  17. We had one go missing like that around here. Looks like a non-cacher found it and not understanding how the game works, moved it to an undisclosed location. GCMVE1
  18. Same problem here on Long Island. I get listings from Connecticut and New Jersey. They may be 30 miles away as the crow flies but driving distance can be 80-90 miles plus tolls! Edit: Thinking about it, shape drawing would be useful for setting up notifications too.
