Thanks for the reply. I exited all applications (and did a reset) before running Pocket Streets. Don't use a keyboard or any other periphial with my PDA. I'm wondering if the serial-to-serial connector is where I went wrong. Maybe I need to purchase a specialty cable instead.?
I have an eTrex Legend and a Compaq iPAQ 3950. I'd like to use the Legend as a receiver for software (such as Microsoft Pocket Streets and Trips) on my PDA. Both toys have serial connectors, so I connected them together with a gender changing serial adapter. Pocket Streets could not find the GPS. Yes, I changed the Legend's in/out to NEMA and yes, I'm using the most recent version of Pocket Streets that is GPS capable. Thoughts anyone?
It's been said, "If you want something done right, do it yourself." Well, when you knowingly release a TB into other people's hands, you have to accept what happens. If you want a TB to be at a specific location at a specific time...use FedEx.
