UMC, I live in Grand rapids and own a Legend. I have uploaded all of the state except the up into the legend. I bought the Roads and Rec mapsource cd. It gives me street level maps of all of the lower state. I just could not squeeze the UP in. 19 megs should load the whole state.

I have run into this just once. I put it back together and rehid it. I wrote the owner and informed him with what I had done. I have also covered up obvious trails that lead to a cache. So many had gone to it, it was very clear somthing was there. I just put some leaves and branches on the ground and swept the area of tracks. So far nobody has complained! I would backup your easygps data if you have any. The delete the easygps and reinstall with the garmin hooked up. It wirked for me.

You might want to go to Garmins web page and get the update for your Legend. I usally only have a eror rate of 10 feet to 20 ft. I have had it be accurate to within 2 feet. Weather, and any heavy tree cover will affect your reception. The fix is free from Garmin. Good luck and keep trying. I am a newbe also but have caught on to tricks of the legend. steve

Is it ok to have several legs to a cache site. I would like to set up a 4 leg course to a cache. I was thinking of useing 3 AOL tins with new cords written inside the covers. This way most would have a nice hike in a small area. Yet still be a bit of a task to find the correct site. Any comments would be welcome. Thanks Falcon28

Look on ebay for what you want. I just got one formy garmin legend. Hooked it up to my toshiba and delorme street atlas and it works great. Total cost 21.00.
