Why do people put out Member only caches? I guess there is a reason, but can't think of any. It must seriously limit the number of logs a cache gets.

So long as all three concentrate on caches put out in Cumbria, (especially by me) I don't see any need to prioritise any other area.

Probably a waste of time and money, SG is used in packaging to absorb moisture from the atmosphere rather than wet conditions, and only works at its best, at room temperature, from the moment you expose it to air it starts to absorb moisture so would be part way to holding its maximum content before you even put it in the container.

I have neither set or looked for a cache for a while now as my wife is very ill. One of my caches appears to have gone missing and I am not sure if I need to archive it. I will definitely try and get out next weekend and replace it, so what do I do?

Anyone like to have guess at how many caches are on NT land alone? You make my point, there are probably more on NT land than on FC land, but if one gets put out in one of these places and gets past the reviewer, people should keep stum. If placed in a Dry Stone Wall it should be removed and archived, I have no problem with this. It's people who themselves have caches on NT land who then report others for doing the same thing, that is annoying. It was published by a reviewer, it's their job to decide on the appropriateness of the location, so why comment? You did it, you found it, keep stum and let others enjoy.

On a recent visit to a NT Cp, I knew that I would need to park for 1 to 1 /12 hours, guess what? The prices were 45p for one hour (very reasonable) but no 2 or 3 three hour cost. The only option was one hour or four hours for £4.00. A con or what?

I have just enabled a cache I archived thank to Scaw putting in a new box of goodies. However, I can't find it on the list site! Have I done something wrong or does it need intervention from one of our Mods?
