I saw a documentary a few years ago about Norwegian resistance to the Nazis during WWII, and how Norwegian soldiers stopped the Nazis from using heavy water to develop nuclear bombs. Norway is also a beautiful country!

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I have been looking through the stickied topics at the top and there is some great info there. After reading through some different threads, I have a question: A lot of people seem to buy more than one of the same geocoin. Why is this?

Thought I would enter some of my pictures, in hopes of winning and getting my geocoin collection started. These pictures were taken in Denver, Colorado at the Denver Zoo. Bonus horn themed image: This was taken in Gamla Stan in Stockholm, Sweden during my trip there last summer.

I have been geocaching for about 2 years, and haven't really been that hardcore about it. Now I am wanting to start getting more in depth in geocaching, like hiding my own caches, getting my own trackables, start caching more often, going to events, etc. One thing I am completely clueless about however is geocoins. I was hoping you guys cold give me the rundown on geocoins. Basically things like how to get started, acquiring and collecting, trackable coins, and everything else. I think geocoins are really cool, but at this point, I know absolutely nothing about them and am completely overwhelmed. Thanks! xboxcrazy33

I'm just getting into geocoins, and this will be the first one I buy. All my family on my dad's side is from Sweden, so I definitely have to buy this one. Now i just need to save some money for this!

Hey everyone, I found a GJTB today, but I am not quite sure what to do, in regards to taking a picture and entering the sweepstakes. It says to take a picture with the current monthly goal. What exactly does this mean? Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
