Yep, as AtlantaGal said, if it's trackable and activated it belongs to someone else and should be dropped into another cache to move on, hopefully to fulfill the mission stated on the coin's page. As for getting coins of your own, you can buy coins from various people or 'dealers' or even through auctions. I do suggest checking around a bit before buying that way. This is unfortunate. If you don't like copies so be it, but to throw away a copy someone has put into circulation... well, I would hope you wouldn't do that.

I admit I didn't look for the PayPal policy until it was too late. I contacted the sellers via email and received responses. By the time I decided I was getting a line of bull the 45 days was gone. So, I'm out $138 and learned a valuable lesson.

I've been waiting,, hold up, change that. It's been 10 months since I gave my money away to these people. No coins. I have an email address and have actually had two responses (in April and again a month ago) but they're always the same: the coins are being made right now, issues with the mint, will get them out ASAP... So, for now I assume I've given my money away. We'll see what happens (but I don't expect much) <shrug>

I'll add my 2 cents too, lol. As long as you and the trader you work with are aware of the circumstances, and ok with them, that's all that matters. I've done what you are doing a few times myself. It's really nobody's business, IMHO, how you work your trade with someone else. Beyond that, I've sent/given coins to someone I knew well, knowing it would be a couple of weeks (or more) before they could send mine. Granted, I have only done this with someone I know and trust - but there you have it
