The kopie coin will still give you a icon. I am coin addicted and icon addicted, so i won't complain. I just hope they place a photo from the coin by the coin page. So i can enjoy the coin. i have one kopie coin , it is hide in a nightcache from me....i am smart enough to not place there the real coin. Cachers can log if they want, it is there choice. Just it is your choice if you want to move a kopie coin to a other cache. I have lost many real coins so i understand why coiners send kopie coins into the world.

I think for myself: mystery coins are coins who are given with a big heart. I share those coins but if i decide not to want them anymore i will given the coins to a other. I will never sell or trade these coins, just give them to a other coiner just as the coins were gifted to me.. When i give a coin to somebody else, they may do what they want to do with it. Sell, trade, give away, i don't care because it are there coins and not mine anymore. i have give them with love and they may do with it with love what they want.

edit : this coin was my second coin i set free , so 3 year is 2 years I was confused with the date is started geocaching. i set free my first coin after a year geocaching.

wow never heard about this day also so i google and read about it. I think you just most love the earth and take care for her. Not 1 day but whole year. Never leave your mess when you are caching and take other mess with you and trow it away. I have always a bag in my caching bag where i can put garbage. Sometimes i feel very ashamed when i see what cachers leave behind in nature. This is a little thing to do. I am going keep a eye at the news to see what other country's do about this day.
