  1. That looks right... not sure what the yellow is in Europe though...
  2. If I can not find exactly what I am looking for that is a great idea, Thanks! It will test my tech savvy skills to see what I can come up with. lol
  3. I am writing an annotated bibliography on geocaching for one of my MLIS classes and I am looking for maps that display the numbers of geocaches all over the world. I hope I do not get stuck by the higher powers that be but I am looking for something similar to the old Buxley's Geocaching Waypoint map.. If any of you old school cachers remember that. The google earth maps feature I have found here only 500 caches for the search results... Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks! Maat Hunter Seeker
  4. We have two caches in the Hill country that I need to find good caretakers for one is off hwy 10 by Kerville and the other is in Colorado Bend State Park. We are no longer living in the area if you are interested and live relatively close by please email me maat_kmt@lycos.com I will transfer ownership of the cache to you. Thank you, Maat

  7. I am interested in trying Bench Marking out but as of yet we do not have a digital camera. How do I log a benchmark and prove that I was there with out the pic and not look like I was just entering fictional log. I know most would not think this that but some people will. Maat

  10. My superstition is when hunting a cache if you ever have to decrypt the clue while searching inevitably it will contain completely useless information like what location to park or what park the cache is... You know stuff you already know because you have been searching for it for about an hour and a half already! Maat
  11. 200 miles distance from a home base. Otherwise it is an overnighter. The convenient thing is we keep moving so our home base keeps supplying a fresh caching area! Maat

  13. Well, as a friend of mind says, "If Ft. Worth is where the West begins, then Dallas is where the East peters out." http://gdbclub.org/GeoCache/PS_sig.gif Prime Suspect you friend is definitely correct! As for Texas being south or southwest debate it doesn’t matter as long as we are never associated with north. However a Texas forum would be nice.... Displaced Texan ~Maat
