  1. verifier for stings For digits just compute the checksum of the digits (assuming there is more than one).
  2. It's been this way for years. Nothing new.
  3. I fixed the image link for you: It must have been taken down, because the above is broken for me.That's weird. I guess the naughty-word filter keeps garbling the URL. Here's another attempt: Failed. I think the file name is the joke - royal-nonesuch-royal-nonesuch.png To bad someone did not grab the image and save it else where and posted that. Never did find it.
  4. Maybe you can convince fizzymagic to fix them. I sure would like to see waypoint finder working again.
  5. Well the last update broke the waypoint finder script. Really useful and made the site useable. Can anyone fix this thing?
  6. Okay the final bookmark is posted. The GSAK datafile is posted here. Enjoy
  7. Well there are several I would expect to be dropped and generally Travis adds some back in to make up. As a guess, the 2nd draft is probably 85% okay.
  8. If it does not get posted until Thursday I may or may not be able to get the final bookmark posted. If it is late Thursday it likely won't be posted because I'll be getting ready to travel all day Friday.
  9. Is it firefox 36 or greasemonkey 3.0? I had a problem with GC Icon chooser and finally tracked the problem down to Greasemonkey 3.0. Reverting to Greasemonkey 2.3 fixed the problem.
  10. Typically Travis posts the final the Monday before the event. But he did say in a previous post that he would post Friday the 13th. Unless I missed it I have not seen the final yet. So if he does post some time tomorrow I should have the bookmark posted Tuesday morning.
  11. Of course. Take look at the bookmark for the event.
  12. I was not aware that anything gets resolved in the forums. Where did you read that?
  13. Second draft bookmark is posted. The data file on My website has been updated. Possible problems #18 GC4ZW0N - sounds like the coordinates are a bit soft. #35 GCQGCA - need to keep an eye on this one. #48 GC3CGV4 - need to keep an eye on this one, might be gone. #54 GC321MF - typical boy scout cache. The maintainer wrote a note 11 months ago it was missing and will replace in a week. Still hasn't and no DNF's or finds. I logged a NA. #55 GC1JC08 - four DNF's in a row. I logged a NM to check on the cache. #58 GC1V940 - need to keep an eye this one.
  14. Not always true. In my county in Washington state, and I think the others here in Puget Sound, the property extends to mean low tide. Below this level is state land. So legally you can't walk on the property between high tide and mean low tide, it is private land.
  15. Maybe get the SearchForSouvenirsByPublicGuid API to pay attention to the hidden attribute on souvenirs on the personal profile page.
  16. My log would have been changed to "TFC". I probably would have changed it to .
  17. I did a search with the location as St. Petersburg, FL with a radius of 10 miles and got 626 results. That tells me that the user name that you entered has found 55 caches within 10 miles of St. Petersburg. If I add wood in the cache name (without entering a user name in the not found by box) I also get 7 results. That tells me that the user name that you specificed didn't find any caches with wood in the title that are within 10 miles of St. Petersburg. Were you expecting different results? The filter says *NOT* found by. My expectation is the results would list the caches the user has entered a DNF log. Not sure how you get the user found 55 caches within 10 miles when the results are 626. The number of finds total by this user is 49. At least with the API when I enter a list of not found by I only get the caches not found by the cachers in the list, not all caches in the area. I also get 7 with the name wood in the title. But my expectation is that with wood in the title and not found by the user I would get around 1, which is the number of caches the user logged a DNF on with wood in the title.
  18. Guess I don't understand this new search. Cache GCZ3GQ I set up the location as St. Petersburg, FL wit a radius of 10 miles. I enter a user name in the not found by box and hit search. I get 571 for results. not very useful I also include WOOD in Cache name includes and I get 7 results. Better, but not great. So why using a cacher name not work?
  19. The problem is that the cache owner is no longer living in town and the person that maintains the cache is a little slow to respond to problems. Others have noted the changed coordinates in their logs. Perhaps when the local maintainer took over and had to replace the missing cache he decided it needed to be moved to a better place. Unfortunately since he does not have access to the cache page to do this and the CO has all but dropped out of the game it is not going to happen. Maybe the best way to address the problem is with Needs Archive logs instead of Need Maintenance logs.
