  1. Cher Amis Geocacheurs,

    Ben "Brixmed"

The coin has an antique bronze finish,

with the front showing the logo « Retain Water, Grow Life »,

and the back depicting the blazon of the City of Le Roeulx (Belgium) witch citizen, called «rhodians », are the originators of this humanitarian project.

  5. Hello to all! <_<

While I was looking the geocoin list, I saw that there is a geocoin with the name: Rhodian geocoin???

From where this coin is? Do you know where I can find pictures of it?

I am from Rhodes Greece, and.... :(

I am almost sure it is not from Rhodes, but...?

My next question is for the kuntry kashin geocoin! Well, it is a beauty, isn't it? One day I will own one...I hope!

In a search I made, I found something that I did not understood well!

The first run of these coins had bad language on it and they had to change it?

    The inscriptions were not ok?

Did the first run actually came into "circulation"? Any pictures? Are any of the first run still avaluable or...

    Nikos.

    Hello Nikos,

I am Brixmed, a belgian geocacher!

Yes there is a "Rhodian Geocoin"... Since the first of march!

    Why Rhodian?

Because it's from the town of "Le Roeulx" (Belgium)

and the citizens of Le Roeulx are called "Rhodians" (in french "Rhodiens").

We made 250 of this coin and the benefits of this coin are for the building of a dam in a desertic part of Mali.

So if you want one, or if you want to support our project feel free to send me an E Mail ( price of a coin 8 eur + shipping)
