  1. Hello, Quick question, opinions wanted. I recently parted company with my car after three years. The car has a TB sticker attached to it which I was unable to remove. As the TB is no longer in my position I feel a bit weird that people can still log it even though it is no longer in my possession. I have looked at the options on the page I have access to as the owner but I cannot see an option to disable it? Should I leave it out in the wild to collect logs? Thanks. RoswellJam (Danny)
  2. Welcome to the obsession. Your point above is still what I love about Geocaching. It gives you a good excuse to visit nearby places that you would never have thought of going to "Just for a walk".
  3. Can anyone help. Myself and my wife set aside a small amount of money each month for charity. Does anyone know of any Coins where the profits made from their sale go to a UK charity?
  4. You could try mine (sorry for the shameless plug) - It's a virtual called Memories By The Water.
  5. Received mine on Friday. I have activated it and hopefully I will be putting it in a cache at lunchtime today! Thanks. Coin is very nice.
  6. I've not received mine yet either. A status report would be greatly appreciated...
  7. I'm camping in the VIP hospitality camping area
  8. Been to the sister festival (Leeds) for the past seven years - same again this year. Last time I went to Reading was 1996. Hope you have a good time!
  9. I think I have missed something What new look? I hate missing out on stuff! Visit any cache page and click on the Geocaching Google Maps link next to the rubbish default map. Theres new icons and bubbles that show if you have found the cache or not. LINK <Edit - Link added> That's awesome - thanks. A very good addition to the site.. Well done to the team..

  11. I'm sorry but I think you are wrong by saying it won't acheive anything.. I think getting news of Maddie out into the open WILL help! If she is being held against her will somewhere (she could be anywhere by now - maybe not even still in Portugal), all it could take is someone who has seen her picture on a poster somewhere to spot her and alert the police and she could be found safe and well. I think the idea of printing out posters and stickers to put in caches and our cars (suggested above) is an excellent one!
  12. Just a thought but could we have some ideas? We as a community must be able to help in some small way... I was thinking of getting as many people as we can that own travel bugs to rename them to something like "Looking for Madeleine McCann". This would raise awareness at least....

  16. Hello all. I'm looking for someone to adopt two of my caches. Their names are Lathkill Love and Magic Of Monsal. They are close to the Bakewell area in the Peak District. Unfortunately, due to ther location I no longer have time to maintain them. It would be a real shame to waste them as they both in lovely locations and well visited. If you can help please contact me through my profile or via the email address shown in my profile.
  17. I have just posted the pictures on the web from camera number 1 of my Lathkill Love geocache. The pictures can be found at: http://www.ofoto.co.uk/I.jsp?c=ss1ueql.164...5&x=0&y=-nnxf4s E-mail me if you recognice anyone... Many thanks, RoswellJam
