Ei tarvitse tehdä mitään, onnistuit jättämään TB:n Hello Kitty -kätköön ja sieltä se lähti kätköilijän matkaan. Pientä solmuiluahan tuossa alussa on, mutta asia näyttää olevan järjestyksessä. Suosituin suomalainen kätköilyfoorumi löytyy tästä linkistä.

Useimmat puukolikot ovat muistoesineitä esim. eventistä tai jonkun "käyntikortteja". Näitä ei ole tarkoitettukaan logattavaksi. Jos kolikosta ei löydy seurantakoodia (ja mainintaa "Trackable on gc.com" tai "log me on xxx" tms. viestiä), niin kyse on todennäköisesti edellämainitusta.

imho: Arkistoitu on arkistoitu, jäänteet tulisi kerätä pois. Vastuullinen kätköilijä hoitaa omien purkkiensa poiston. Eihän noita tule latauksiin, joten aika vähän lie etsijöitäkään. Siis jos tietää arkistoidun kätkön vielä kummittelevan maastossa, niin citoon vaan.

OH5QW Tunnuksen olen pitänyt voimassa, vaikka radioaktiivisuus on ollut viime vuosina hyvin heikkoa.

Sääntöjen mukainen jos yksikään välipiste (ja loppupurkki) ei ole 161 metriä lähempänä mistään muusta kätköstä. Tietenkin sijainnit ovat oltava alueella, jossa vapaa liikkuminen on sallittua.

Premiumjäsen voi tehdä hakuja haluamallaan vaikeus/maastoyhdistelmällä (Pocket query). Suomalaiselta sivustolta onnistunee perusjäseneltäkin: http://www.geocache.fi/index.php Kätköt -> Kartalla -> Hakulomake Kannattaa ensin etsiä jokunen helpompi kätkö jotta saa vähän tuntumaa siitä, mitä, mistä ja miten etsii. Geocache.fi:stä löytyy myös hieman aktiivisempi suomenkielinen foorumi.

Ei pysty muuttamaan, joku koodari tietysti osaisi nyplätä kasaan sopivan pluginin, jolla konversio tapahtuisi omalla koneella.

Yleensähän nuo olvat kuntien nollapisteitä, mutta ei kukaan ole kieltänyt kylien "nollaamista", muistaakseni vastaavia tapauksiakin löytyy, ainakin entisten kuntien nollapisteitä on purkitettu (kuntaliitokset).

OK, it seems I was barking a wrong tree since nobody else hasn't reported the same behavior.

I think this is not the issue. Maybe I should do some more research, although, if it works, you don't pay attention 1. There is this 2000 cache limit Colorado can handle, if/when I go out of my local area I can easily change the cache set to another (and maps too). 2. Sometimes if there is something odd in GPX, the GPS jams, usually it heals when you remove the corrupted file, but if the unit is too confused to communicate with computer... 3. My PC recognises the memory card much faster than the GPS, and the data transfer time is also faster. 4. The usb-connector seems to wear out much sooner than the SD-socket (I know few occurences, mine doesn't always connect reliably anymore, and very poorly if the cable also is old).
