Thack Pack

As we all know by know the Garmin E-trex GPSrs are not waterproof. I was wondering if there was a waterproof container that would hold said E-trex AND still be operational inside with perhaps a small window to see the screen. P.S. So what we've learned is single men love to geocache.

I'm thinking this would be a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Can I ask what was placed inside of your caches?

How many folks out there have lost their cache due to a flood, volcano, hurricane, tornado, earthquake or any other random act of mother nature?

We've taken both our dogs with us. The last cache we visited with the dogs had 2 rawhide bones in it. A very nice treat for them. They both promptly hid their new found treasure. See...they're naturals at this.

I was driving down the road and spotted a benchmark. I was thrilled as always and started thinking. Do you prefer to find benchmarks by searching for them? Or would you rather just spot one while out and about? All of my benchmark finds to date are ones I've just happened upon. Although, I have searched unsuccessfully on a couple of occasions.

This is on the campus of Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC. I have no idea when the benchmark was changed to this.
