Update! There has been a slight delay with the arrival of these coins but hopefully they should be here next week. I would like to thank those people who have ordered and paid for their coins for their patience and we hope to have them sent to you asap. Thanks for all the orders so far, I have been a bit busy but invoices will be on there way shortly! I still have quite a few coins left if anyone wants them. Also as a few people want photos i will get some up as soon as i get the coins!

Glad I decided to have a quick look at the forums!! thanks for creating such a cool looking coin, i've ordered a couple plus some other coins i have been thinking about getting!!

I was just having a look at my stats on ukgeocache.com and noticed that it is saying I have found 294 caches. I have acctually found 301 caches! I was just wondering if anyone know which caches aren't counted and why!! I thought it may be webcam caches as these are logged as 'photo taken' rather then 'found' but i have only found 4 of these! then I though maybe it doesn't count caches which have been archived but this only accounts for 5. i also wondered if it just hadn't updated recently but i have only found 1 cache since the 25/02/07 which was the last date mentioned. can anyone help??

I have never found a different cache from the one i was looking for but i have on a couple of occasions found canisters hidden with other things in them, they looked like they were part of some other game!! i wonder whether the hiders/finders are aware of geocaching!!

I think £5 is around $9 something!

Thankfully I have not come accross anything like broken bottles or needles but it is really upsetting when a cache site is covered with litter, I try to pick up bits and piecs as I am walking but sometimes theres just too much, my hope is that if cachers really stick to the CITO mentality then it may just start to have an effect on other users of the are. on a lighter note, anyone ding my paddle and walk cache on Windermere may want to be aware of this:Lake monster

Thanks for all the interest and comments about these coins. I can't take credit for the design (well I could but it would be wrong ). My brother (fiffnruss) designs the coins and I sell them with a bit of help from the rest of the family to get them all posted etc. It worked well with the casino coins and hopefully will again with this little stunner! forgot to say in the first post but we will again be having 250 made and selling 200, the rest will be kept, traded, sent out to travel or given away.

Now that we have come down from the excitement of having our first coin made, we decided it was time for the second. the coin will be 1.5" (38.1mm) coins and 3.0mm thick they will be trackable with own icon (details to follow!) they will be 2D initation hard enamel. they will come in gold, silver and copper! the txt on the back reads 'Say it's time for Geocaching' We have just sent the designs off for a quote so will provide more details when available but i expect they will sell for a similar price to the Casino geocoins (£5 plus shipping) we will add more info as we get it and start reserving and selling asap so it will be worth keeping an eye on this topic if you want one/some! for now however I just thought I would show you the design to see what do you think!! edited to add a bigger picture!!

thanks for the update, I think i put my name down a while ago to get on the minibus if it becomes available, i would also be happy to pay my way if needed, not sure i will manage it if i need to sort out my own transport though but we will see.
