  1. Just give me the coords to the final of your multi...that's all I need. OK. The one you stumbled onto is not mine. Does it look old or new?
  2. Where on the Flagler trail? I had a cache go missing with a similar description on the Flagler Trail South.
  3. A better approach: From the cache page, copy/paste into the search box on maps.google.com.
  4. "Souviner rocks" seems to work around Orlando. There's even a cache named after the technique!
  5. There was this poor guy: Brick Bridge near Orlando.
  6. Congrats Lynn! Enjoyed meeting you at GW3. Watch out though, I'm only 9000 behind you!
  7. Cool! I brought up the mapquest map from the cache page, then cut and pasted the coords into the google search box and it brought up the satellite photo with the coords at the center! Just like the old days!
  8. Remember when you could click on the map from the cache description page, go into Mapquest, then click on Satellite Photo and get an aerial photo with the coordinates at the center of the photo? That feature of mapquest went away, but now is available on Google Maps. Any chance we could get a link to Google Maps from the cache description page?
  9. I got hungry waiting for the beans! Seriously though, great job NEFGA.
  10. I did 21 in one day with a 8, 7, and 3 year old and without my wife. That was two years ago. Last year I did 35 in one day with my (then) 9-year old.
  11. I also recommend Fort DeSoto Park. Here's a good cache in the park: A Fisherman's Rescue We just did a bunch of these in March...all scenic and fun
  12. This sounds more like a posting of your political views than a real issue with geocaching.
  13. Oh no! Are those being archived too? I hope so!
  14. Just open the log submission page in a new tab (or window, if you're still using a browser from the last century). Yea, there are obvious ways around this, but in the excitement of writing a log and by the time I'm at the end of the log saying thanks, I've forgotten who owned the cache. Adding the information at the top of the log page would provide the information easily to allow me to say thanks by name.
  15. When you go to post a new log, the log page says: In reference to: Cache Name (Traditional Cache) There is no reference to the cache owner so when I go to say thanks, I don't know whose name to put down. Couldn't we add "by CacheOwner" to the line above? I'd rather say thanks by name than just "TFTC".
  16. Here's one in Florida: Cool Cave Cache
  17. We found a decapitated wild boar's head at Silent Professionals.
  18. I am looking for PDA driving/navigation software for my Pocket PC (Dell Axim X5, Pocket PC 2002). I am looking for the software to have both waypoint management (supports downloading waypoints from gc.com) and autorouting (and autorouting to waypoints). From a previous post, several people recommended Mapopolis. Does it have these features?
  19. These are two of my favorite shots from End of the Road cache. Back flip with a half twist Swanning Funnest cache we ever did
  20. If you're Jetskier, you say, "Souvenir Rocks".
  21. Here's a highly recommended night cache: It is very dark...
  22. OK. Just wanted to find out if all maps came with the product or only states you purchased.
  23. I am looking for a vehicle mount GPS solution and was looking at the Tomtom webpage. But I can't figure out what "map coverage" means. Does this software include the entire US (all states). If so, then why are separate state maps shown when you follow the "map coverage" link? Anybody have experience with this product?
  24. Thanks. I checked the Mapopolis website and was confused by their product. Does it include the CF GPS? The specification says the GPS is "Powered from car cigarette lighter" and "Built in rechargeable battery provides memory backup and fast time to first fix". But the description says "The CF card draws from your PDA's battery so no separate charging cable or power supply is necessary." Which PDA do you have...does it have Bluetooth? Kayakanimal I have an early Dell Axim PDA, no blue tooth.
