I have a Garmin 60Cx that I've loved since I bought it 5+ years ago. I've loved its relative accuracy compared to other consumer GPSrs. It is dying, and I'm looking at replacing it.
After reading thread upon thread here, I had decided on the Garmin 62 as a replacement, which would get me the accuracy I enjoyed plus the ability to do paperless caching without having to have another device.
But I'm also thinking about upgrading my 1st gen iPod Touch to a newer one and getting a bluetooth GPS receiver like this:

The new iPod Touch plus the puck would be about the same cost as a new 62, with the added benefit that the iPod Touch is useful for other things as well. The "puck" could also be used with my husband's Droid phone. I've tried to use his phone to cache before, and I love c:geo, but the lack of accuracy of the built-in GPS drives me nuts.
I just wonder if I would be happy enough with the bluetooth puck to make it worth doing the second option vs. the 62. Can anyone give me any feedback with using these pucks with a smartphone or other device vs. using a handheld GPSr?
Thanks for any help!
Sincerely,
