Sugest that you spend a weekend at a swanky hotel in Harrogate for his Birthday treat When I first noticed the Mega event, I mentioned it to my other half, expecting her to say that it wouldnt be a good idea, but I got quite the opposite the very next day she was calling the hotel and booking a room for us, for the weekend plus an extra day. enjoy

My other half thinks I'm absolutely bananas, he has been caching with me twice for my birthday and once for mothers day, now I try and get out whilst he is at work and the kids are at school, how I'm going to manage when I return to work I haven't worked out yet. My biggest gripe is events, I'd love to go to more events and camp but that's definitely a nono. I know there is no way I could attend the mega event cos it's the weekend near his birthday, oh well I'm sure there will be photos posted.

You are, but don't expect to make any friends by taking such action. If someone doesn't want to move it on, where's the harm in logging that it's still in the cache? Why shouldn't they get the icon for finding it? I just think it's unfair that such a cache is allowed to contain so many trackables that seem to be stuck there, if I have asked via the cache page for it to be moved and people are stilll just discovering it without helping it on it's mission, as soon as it's moving again and out of that prizon then I am happy for people to discover it again

Also as an extra am I allowed to do THIS As this coin seems to be stuck in a TB motel only to be discovered instead of moving I have made the decision that you can only log this coin if you actually move it, Until it is back on the move again any discovered logs will be deleted Am I allowed to delete discoved logs? (I will put the above text on the coins page first)

I Have a Geocoin which has been placed in This TB Motel, this cache contains 25 trackables and people seem to go there discover the trackables and leave them there, I would like my coin to move on and have placed a note on the cache page asking for the next cacher to move it on but it is still being discovered and left there . I have used an online translation tool to put the message in German but when a friend tried to translate it back it didn't make any sense. Is there anyone out there that can translate my mesage into German so that it makes sence please, I would also like to send the cache owner an email but again the language barrier is in the way. Or is anyone going there for there holidays that can rescue it for me Cheers Fi

It would be fantastic to know where there are stiles and even kissing gates, not only do both these things prevent wheelchair access they also block buggies, I can manage quite rough terrain with my 3 wheeler buggy but often come unstuck at kissing gates, some styles I can manage to lift it over but kissing gates (my pet hate) are usually too high.

I usually use file explorer to transfer files between pc and mio, i recently had probs whilst trying to set up Wherigo as i had the wring version on .NET Framework, I assumed i had to uninstall and reinstall on my mio and couldn't get it to work but I actually had to uninstal it from my pc then reinstal the newer version, when i next pluged my mio in it automaticaly updated it.

Thats a double whammy sorry to here about that matrix, My GPS was stolen from me last year (it was left on the dash getting a signal whilst I went to the boot to get my caching bag, when I when to get my gps it was gone) . I hope they find the ####### and you get them back.

Nope, see my reply to MrsB. I have a multi like you describe and that is how they usually come but the one I'm talking about isn't! 5 containers with log books and swaps and counts as 1 find. How bizzare, though it must be easier than looking for 4 film pots to find the micro

I think perhaps he meant hide several individual caches which each also contain a clue to an extra bonus cache, that way it works like a multi is that you have to go to several locations first but it also suits the number cachers as they claim several finds, we have one near me that has proved quite popular Marham Fen Bonus you have to find 8 micro's that are all placed on a circular walk and each containing information to lead to this one.

I wish they would reconsider the sizes cos whilst I will look for mico's anything smaller is a nono for me and I wish I could avoid those nano's

I personaly like both but if you want as many people as poss to come then circular walks are the way to go, locals and holiday makers may do a long multi but you won't get people passing through doing it. I have 3 ciculars near me the newest was placed on 28th feb and has already had 13 visits, another placed last month has had 20 but multi's in the same area 1 has been there since 2006 and has had 9 finds another has had 26 finds in 2 years.

I was out the other day doing a recce for a potential cache placement, I have a rather unusual cache container and have been given permission to place caches on a particular piece of land so I have been trying to find the "perfect spot" to place my cache, Upon seeing what looks like the perfect spot I see that there has been bees nesting there in the past, There is old honeycomb formations in the hole but no sign of any bees or lava, Does anybody know will bees come back to an old nesting site? would it be safe to put a cache there? should I remove the old honeycombs? or Should I look for another perfect spot? I am sorry for wasting your time [] on the above post where it says uninstall then reinstal I assumed i had to uninstall in on my PPC not realising that it meant uninstal it from my PC. I have now uninstalled it from my PC and reinstalled the newer package which has sent the relevant info to my PPC. see i tolk you i was a numty

i tried running it on my pc thinking that when i next connected my mio it would install it for me but nothing hapened, i have also tried copieing the file onto my mio and running from there but it says "there is no application assosiated with netcfsetupv2"

I downloaded Wherigo onto my miop550 and when trying to run it get "This application (player.exe) requires a newer version of the Microsoft.NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device. though when i look into the remove programs it isn't there to remove. I have managed to find a newer version and downloaded it to my PC i have run it on my pc and syncronised my mio but it still says the same message. I am running windows vista on my pc if that makes any difference any help greatly apprieciated Fiona

For my hundreth cache I completed a cache which took me to some of the film laoctions for Dads Army, It is a cache that involves a lot of driving to get to the locations but well worth it.

I have been lucky enough to have been sent a DB TB and a DB coin to release, even though these were not "Mine" I still keep an eye on where they are in the same as coins or TB's that I do own and have released. The DB TB I Ireleased is still travelling, I am also watching the 2 DB TB's that are supposed to come to Norfolk - One has never moved, never even been grabbed, the other has only just been released and is in it's first cache. The DB coin I released is now travelling in france If I was a US citizen and was lucky enough to release a Jeep in the wild I would follow that as if it was my own too. I have been lucky enough to see all 4 types of Jeep, 3 I have been in the wild and are still travelling, 1 I discoved at an event and it has since been put back into the wild and is still travelling. Some people have Kept these TB's and coins for there own pleasure and I think this is wrong, Some people keep these TB's and Coins and take them to events for others too discover, If they didn't I wouldn't have discovered the yellow jeep but I would have prefered to see it in the wild and had the chance to move it (and take it home for my kids to see). On one hand it's great that people who have never seen these jeeps know that if they go to a particular cache they can be assured that they will get the icon, on the other hand the people who live in the rest of the country/world are getting 1 less chance of a jeep coming close to them. I say don't chain them up, keep them travelling, nicer for the people who released them on behalf of jeep/DB and nicer for us who when we see the icon pop up close by can rush out to get it and try and beet the others. Just my 2p worth

It's up to the cache owner to decide. I vote for rutsons list please
