  1. both versions will be available, i will have both coins in the shop, however less of the one with the gc-logo, as that one will be mainly sold through an american webshop (the one i will mention only once the coins are available). yes, please do fill in the survey. btw: happy may 3 to all of you!
  2. acutally the name is the very same, but yes, there is a different icon for those two versions. icons are already visible at the "all geocoins" page of Groundspeak.
  3. yes, there will be another version too (with a qr code), pricing is similar.
  4. here is the back. (some slight color adjustments will be done, however the design is set). btw. this coin will be available in a geocoin/geocaching web store in the u.s.a. as well, so u.s. customers might order it directly from there (saves postage). i don't tell you which shop so you don't bother anyone now. no reservations taken there anyway.
  5. i agree, for regular coins of 1.5" to 2" size. for this one, please just consider its size (3 inches) takes about 3 to 4 times as much metal (and colors) as an average 1.5" to 2" coin and is therefore more costly to mint. (so, 1.5" to 2" coins at 9 euros are comparatively expensive ...)
  6. happy 10 year celebrations! a new 3" macro geocoin called "10 years of geocaching" is currently in production. unfortunately only the samples were ready for the anniversary day. the mass production should be in at the end of may or in june. in order to give as many people as possible the chance to purchase such a coin, i have to know how many of you are interested in buying one at the price of about 19 dollars (14 euros), so i can provide more, in case. coin is fully trackable with custom icon, of course. if you are interested, please go to the short survey at http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?fo...lNDlaN3JpbHc6MQ this is not a binding order, however fill in the form only if you are really interested please.
  7. sorry the xle and xxle are now sold out. for future coins: - get on the mailing list. - if you are already on the mailing list: make sure no spam filter eats the info before you get it. - if you get the news: react fast.

  11. Whoops! My bad. I just saw the dollar amount and assumed it was Euros. I stand corrected but still outta my range at the moment. CF30 (see also post above) i will put some on ebay later, for 0.99$.
  12. 40% off the main problem is the currently weak u.s. dollar whose exchange rate has dropped quite a bit lately compared to other currencies like the euro. so that makes geocoin importing more expensive for u.s. customers.

  18. i don't know how much it helps if we cry for "ge kml" here in this forum where it can be ignored easily by the addressees. maybe each of us has to write to the Groundspeak government directly, or open a petition (aren't there petition sites?).
  19. i am pretty upset this feature is no longer available (it is an outrage, to be honest). it was one of the best thing ever. i am sure there are solutions that cause less data traffic. pleeeeeeease, bring ge kml back! it is one of the only reasons for my paid membership.
  20. no question, this is _the_ trick. it worked for me too. flip4mac is the bad guy ... thank you!
  21. got my coins about 3 days ago. great stuff. always looks better in real :-)
  22. it seems that most of you also prefer the A. thanks for all your input. other’s opinion still welcome. and: yes, it is a banana ...
  23. good guess there! but i won't tell anything. thanks so far. i just added a D version (on initial post).
  24. hi. for a future coin i have several options for the face. (sorry i cannot show you the rest of the coin yet.) actually i would prefer A, but the person with the original idea does not like it with teeth. but i hold that the smile turns out best that way. so please let me know your opinion here. you may post better drawings of the mouth part ... thank you! ((mouth D is a later addition to this post)).
  25. i had a look and there are quite some interesting coins. just send an offer.
