I'm interested if anyone ever finds a solution to this stuff! I have a 550t and I HATE it because of these issues! I use GSAK to load it and frequently turn it on after to have it freeze before getting the whole file loaded or it lets me think it's loaded, but really it's missing a lot, or it freezes when I look at cache descriptions. I like all the other things about it (aside from the screen quality). But I'll be watching here to see if anyone figures out what the issue is. It's just so frustrating because it takes so long to boot up and check to see if the caches made it, and then if they didn't, you have to start all over! I actually had it freeze on me in the field one day after working fine, only to take the batteries out to reboot to get it to work again, and I found that all my caches were gone. (WPs were still there though!) And I was hours away from home

I've only had my Oregon 550t since Christmas, but for the past couple of weeks, I've been having trouble with it freezing. The first time, it kept doing it on the same cache, just as you described, when I'd try to view the description or logs I'd get only the arrow and the go button, but it worked fine for navigating. I tried reloading the GPX file when I got home, and I didn't seem to have the problem anymore, but it did it again this weekend. The cache I was viewing was very simple though, no special characters in the title and no html on the page. It also gets hung up when I try to delete WPs manually, sometimes it just takes awhile, but other times I have to reboot. It's also hung up a few times on the camera. I was reading this thread to see if it was related, but it sounds like I'll have to keep a watch out to see if I'm the only one Thanks for the info!

Can you mark caches as found in cacheberry? I'm using the trial right now on my new Blackberry Storm, but I'm finding it cumbersome to navigate. I used to use cachemate, but it isn't compatible with Blackberry. I miss it

I've been using my Q with the Mobipocket, but since they stopped supporting it, I'm going through withdrawal. Some of the other programs are not compatible with my Q. I'd hate to purchase a program & have it not work with my Q, so I'm wondering if anyone else out there uses one & what you use if you do & any pros/cons. Thanks!

Yesterday I saw a Benchmark a few feet away from another benchmark (LW5817) across from Nobska Light, but can't seem to find it listed in the benchmarks. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, so I can't post a picture, but it was dated 1995 & had 7955A inscribed on it. Anyone else know anything about it?
