  1. For the short description, I have HTML pointing to a JPEG file on my server and the HTML box checked on the geocaching cache page...that works just fine.

For the long description I have plain text that I typed in...but whenever you save it and go look at it...it bunches everything up into 1 long sentence.

So if I typed 2 lines:

    Hello there

    I am Guru4Hire

After saving, the long description displays everything in 1 line:

    Hello there I am Guru4Hire

Can you not mix HTML in 1 box and Text in the other box? Whats Up?

  2. (1) Can you specify coordinates to a particular spot and then from there have the cacher walk a magnetic bearing for maybe 100' feet to find a clue?

    (2) Can that clue then have a geocacher get the next coordinates off a website?

    (3) Can a clue have coordinates on voicemail and have the geocacher call in from a cellphone to get them?

    (4) Can the cache segments be divided up....some stages are Day / some stages are Night?

What else could you do to make a real caching adventure...but pass Geocaching.com's rules...Ideas?

  3. Ok, On Zone Alarm...On the "Main" screen, if you have "Ad Blocking" set to "High" you won't see the maps. I set it to "Medium" and it works fine.

On Windows 2000 I have it set to high and it works fine. Oh well...now that this is working on XP...I will not have to get Vista...lol.

    Thanks all for the replies.

  4. I have 8 caches out there and don't care if people give hints....they still have to get there and sign the log book. I just maintain them so when found, they are at the proper coordinates and there is a dry log and working pens.

Heck, people can send pictures of the cache in its hiding spot if they want. They still have to walk there and sign the log.
