***For you young guys out there this is how TVs used to be back in the 60s*** For you even younger ones...you used a "Cat Whisker" on a "Galena Crystal and moved it around to hear radio signals.

PDA...PPC...Smart Phone....something. I'll watch the Where-I-Go hardware forum and see what people have luck with. I want something seperate from my phone...so when everything locks, freezes and shuts down in the middle of the wilderness...I still have a working phone to call the evacuation helicopters.

After all the reports here...I'm really happy now that I didn't hurry up and buy a Colorado. I don't want to dish out $500 to be a Garmin Beta Tester. With all the reported problems...I wonder if they can be fixed by just firmware updates alone...and not a whole hardware (chipset) redesign / replacement. I wanted to get a Colorado to replace my 60CSX and start on the "Where-I-Go" stuff...but now I'll probably just get a PDA...probably a Mio (because they tested on a Mio 350)...and work with that. I'll just have to watch the progress and posts of current Colorado users and see if by the end of 2008...there are positive posts. Until then...My 60CSX works just fine for me.

I've learned that people Love and Hate Micros. I've learned that people Love and Hate Peanut Butter Containers. Yea...I've Learned Me Alot.

People can do whatever they want...the true Geocachers will actually find it...the others can have their grandmother sign it for them...or just dream about it and log it from the comfort of your home. All I ask is that you hide it again...whether Physically or Telepathically.

The 60CSX serves me well....

My compass is alwas off after I change the batteries. I always have to recalibrate it. The manual says that too.

I want more Park-&-Grabs...something where I don't have to walk more than a few feet....or even better, somehing where I don't have to get out of the car.

***Have you ever gone into a library*** Well that is like Geocaching...You go to the catalog find a book that sounds really interesting. You write down the books Dewey Decimal number (The Coordinates) and then go on your hunt. Once you find the book...you are disappointed because it is small book (Micro) and then refuse to look at it....and then swear off libraries.

I have my Body Guards hold him while I Look...even if he should find it...my Body Guards will convince him that I found it first. Actually, I have met others at a cache trying to claim a FTF...we just look for it on our own...and sometimes you win and sometimes you don't.

Attention Geocachers...Beware: I use "Metamucil" containers...the 24 oz plastic ones with screw on top. If you get Diarrhea while doing my cache...don't say I didn't warn you.

I have a 60CSX and was ready to get the Colorado as soon as it was available...but after seeing all the problems...I'll wait a while now.

***You've realized that the revisions will most likely come just as soon, or late, whether you already own the unit or not?*** Yes, but what happens if they need to do a hardware/firmware change (new chip) to handle some of the fixes/features...the unit is new and a lot can happen yet.

I've seen places first then looked around to where I could hide something. Or I had an Idea then looked for a place to match that Idea.
