  1. Not a fan of the new map at all. Thank you Groundspeak for sending me the link to this topic so I could get back to the older map that worked great for me. So for now until that one goes away completely (if it does) I am happy. For me the new map loads slowly. Solved puzzle piece icons took about 15 minutes to show up on my map page after solving them. That was this morning on 3 of them. Having to keep clicking "search area" to see caches when moving to different areas is a pain. Sure, easy to do but yet more clicking that has to be done. Looking at it, there really is nothing I really like about it. I am okay with change and know it has to happen sometimes but this version is not for me at all. Sorry to sound so negative but that is all I got for the new map page.
  2. Just a note that there will be a couple of us with our RV's at the Confluence State Park for the weekend. I wont be coming in until about 7 PM on Friday night. If you see us, feel free to come on over and visit. Of course we will be out caching during the Saturday day. We also plan on going to the dinner on Saturday night. You cant miss my camper as seen in my user ID picture. It even says "the tc life" on the front.
  3. Love the fact that there are some walking/hiking caches. Really looking forward to our visit. Thank you for setting this up!
  4. Sweet, that means that it was most likely gone when I looked for it...I guess that makes me feel better. lol.
  5. Looks like the next one GC2N1NY "might" be questionable as well. #42 Although those hides are not an easy to find type.
  6. Did I miss something on cache GC2NF2G My Silly Micro? It shows a Needs Maintenance, Needs archived and a couple notes on it. #41 on the list. I was kind of hoping it was a go for it. I could not find it last summer and was hoping with others I could get it on the found list.
  7. Thought I would add a link to RV parking right in Pullman for those that are doing that. It took me a while to find a place to park in a web search. This park is walking distance to the pre C.M. get together at the brewery and also the after C.M. dinner. Pullman city rv park
  8. a small donation per person like that is no big deal for my wife and i. thank you for setting it up. i guess thats a lot better than the beef jerky and a snickers.
  9. That is Travis sending us on a wild goose chase to make up for the cache in Portugal I tried to send us to. Actually Travis missed that when he edited the boilerplate from the winter cache machine. The dinner will be at the Panda Inn. Oops. Fixed it. now what excuse am I going to use for being lost? thanks for the info update.
  10. this will be my first cache machine and im looking forward to it. question though... I read on the event page dinner on Saturday at the panda inn but on here I read Puerto Vallarta. ...look im lost already. lol. by the way, I hope the lounge stays open late on Friday at the panda inn. we will be staying at the motel 6 and wont arrive from the Spokane area until 830 or so.
