Just bought a Magellan 210, great unit. Had been using a Garmin Legend. Garmin has faster map drawing, but the Magellan is ROCK solid, does not lose lock as often when under trees. Garmin also "zooms" in to 20', Magellan only goes to 100, but the fun is in the hunt and find. Magellan is also easier to use due to the "Mark" button. I don't care for the double press needed to enter a new GOTO, but the unit is superior to the Legend. Hope the horror stories concerning service are incorrect if I ever need it.

I recently purchased an Etrex Legend. Works great, but the manual inputting of waypoints is fustrating. Several posts suggest the ease of downloading these numbers. Can anybody supply "step by step" instructions or direct me to "downloading for dummies"????
