Just wondering about people who place a cache outside a restaurant and say that is where they like to dine in the cache description? Is this allowed?

I have had my ifinder go for two years, yesterday it decided to freeze on the first page (i FINDER GO) I have tried the soft reset and the hard reset. Nothing works, I have to remove the batteries to turn it off. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
