I have given this some thought. This is where I've gotten to. I have yet to be bitten, so I guess I'm not so shy. If someone runs into some problems, I'm always willing to be a little patient, as long as I am informed. I have had someone send me a coin, knowing that I had nothing to trade (yet). A simple, "Send it when you get it," that I found very kind. I suppose that I should have the same kind of attitude, knowing that sooner or later it will bite me. But that happens. What's $10 or $15 bucks in the big scheme of things, as long as it's not a common occurence. (Fool me once/fool me twice applies here) That being said, I myself would find it very, very difficult to sell something to somebody, that I didn't already have in hand. Too much "s@#t" can go wrong. I realize that some people cannot put up 100% of their own cash up front, or are willing to play with someone else's money, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I would be sure that I was ready and able to suck it up, if the deal went bad. All the tupperware/avon/cooking/candle parties that my wife has had, and when something goes wrong, it will come out of my pocket if all other options have been exhausted. This has happened. I also understand that some don't share my view. I would imagine that all the crap someone would get on this forum for not "delivering" the goods would probably be the "pound of flesh" that might help me get over the small amount I put up. Now then. If I were to drop $1500 on a batch of coins, or a 1K on a mountain bike, only to get screwed, it would be a whole different animal. Far as I can tell...youse are all good people.
