  1. Never mind, here it is... http://www.coincodes.com/
  2. I used the 000 padded envelopes as well. Sold my coin for around $6.50 and that included S&H. I took care of international shipping myself. It was too complicated to figure out who to charge what. I figure the international people get abused enough with extra S&H so they paid no more than domestic folks. As far as shipping, in the US I used First Class Mail and international was air mail. I also packaged the coins in furniture wrap that was saved from buying bedroom furniture. As far as keeping up with labels etc, I created an Microsoft Database file and imported labels to Word. It worked out great. There is one site out there that will track your addresses and allow you to download the database (cost depends on the number of coins you list). I'd be glad to tell you that by PM or Email as I'm not sure I'm allowed to link it here. It was definitely fun to see where all my coins were going. I mailed stuff to just about every state in the United States (including Hawaii and Alaska). I also had ALOT of international mail - especially Canada and the Netherlands. I agree with what the person up there said - it was fun to correspond with traders too. Overall pleased with my coin experience! Good luck with yours, and if I can answer any questions, please email. Many on these boards were helpful to me!
  3. My best wishes - please post an update when you return. Your forum family will be thinking of you.
  4. I'd like to trade with you if you're interested in a Blind Acorn.
  5. with all the troubles - i think i would have switched companies earlier in the game. good luck to you - the coins will be worth it when they are done and you get the huge box in the mail.
  6. I got a fake email from paypal to an email address that isn't even associated with paypal... I got scammed in the spring on the order of $90 for a magazine subscription thing, so I've become even more cautious of emails, solicitors etc. added the word fake... I wasn't trying to say paypal is a scam.. infact have had very good luck dealing w/ them directly
  7. Your best bet to get coins is to watch the forums. People will post their coins for sale here. Also, on occassion a cacher will sell their whole collection coin by coin. RE: Groundspeak Lackey. This evidently was a special coin that Groundspeak gave to it's employees/volunteers. I've seen one...
  8. I dunno.... often wondered about them too. Wondering also if there will be the fourth holiday coin and if there will ever been an icon for them?
  9. Got this one today. . . Thanks. . . Very Cool
  10. ordered one...thanks for the heads up!
  11. Nicely done, I'd be willing to trade. Since switching jobs, I've had to cut back on excessive spending. Coins were one of the first things that had to stop.
  12. I've never had any problems w/ geoswag, oakcoins, etc. I've always found them to be responsive and helpful! Remember to be patient and make sure you've not received a reply that may have been rerouted into a SPAM folder. Edited for my pathetic grammar.
  13. I'm sitting here picturing a coin, laminated (very badly) by plastic... Amusing thought. I mean we've all seen those cars with the fake tint applied to the windows that got airbubbles underneath.
  14. Virtual TB are not allowed. That's the point. I don't know what you'd get out of logging them, but it's kind of rude to "place" them in a cache knowing full well there are people who make special trips for jeeps, coins and TB's.
  15. Forgive if off topic.. it's not coin related...
  16. I echo what 501 said. I just got home from a 9/11 service and from stopping by a temporary memorial at a local funeral home. The funeral home placed an american flag per victim on their front lawn. I'll try to post a picture or two somewhere and add a link. Thanks for an awesome coin.
  17. Since not everyone here is a Christian, how about something neutral? Just a politically correct thought? --- Also I wonder on your thread like I did Prowlers the other week...be sure the trains are in production and on the way to the buyers/traders before starting a pre-sale for these. I would hate for it to appear that you are out to make a buck.
  18. 12 forum posts... but i like 12 months of caching that someone said above.
  19. Great idea, i'll use it if I ever host another event. Thanks for posting it
  20. You know I'm really sorry that Steve Irwin passed away from a tragic accident, but people die everyday in accidents. Not a coin I would support. Sorry.
  21. How about an update/delivery date on your other coin???? I honestly wouldn't go selling another until you fulfill orders for the first one. I paid for mine on JULY 21!
