You could always try over here in Jersey if you were looking for something a little different. Accommodation would be at the low rate then and there are plenty of self catering apparments here and very good food outlets esp. in the local pubs. Our cache numbers are growing and you'd be hard pressed now to complete them all in a weeks visit. Plus you cant beat the scenery and great walking over here either.

Glad to see you had a good time over here L8HNB. Im sure all thoses step werent too much stress for you and who said a holiday was for relaxing Im sure you wont forget your GPS again now and L will never let you live that one down

We had our nickles made by http://www.geonickels.com . Mark does a great job and his turn around time is second to none. From first contact to the nickles arriving was around 2 weeks. That included several changes along the way plus great contact and updating from him through out. Also his prices are very reasonable and reordering has never been a problem. Our avatar is on one side and the Jersey Flag on the other both in full colour.

Hope these links help you out a little http://www.geocaching-france.com Look for Outils then click on Geo-Carto then click on the map for an up to date map of french caches. If you know the town/area your staying by goto this site to get the coord's of it and run a PQ from them to find alll the caches within that area. http://www.heavens-above.com Look for Anonymous Users click on Select your location from our huge database click on france then enter your town. Or just google earth. Hope you have a great trip and find a couple of caches.

Hi all im wanting to do a cache using waypoint projections (just to add a bit more fun into it ). Ive sort of got the idea of how to do it but i was wondering if any of you have done this sort of cache, what you throught of them and know of any i could look at for a reference. Cheers.

That maps not to bad but it doesnt show all the roads you'll need .You'll be able to pick up a better one as soon as you enter the island (harbour/airport/hotel/guesthouse) but you'd be better to get a Perrys Guide as thats the best road map of the island. Most news agents sell them for a few quid. As for pubs we have over 160 here so no cache is too far away If you still want a few good pubs close to some caches let us know and well cobble a list together. All are generally family friendly and serve good food too.

Below are sites which should help you out http://www.geocaching-france.com Look for – Outils – down the left hand side of page. Then click on link ‘Geo-Carto‘ on the new page click on the map which will take you to a map of France with all the caches on. Just click on caches to get GC details displayed. or http://www.heavens-above.com/countries.asp Click on your country required then enter town name to get the long/lat of the town. Then all you have to do is enter this in to the GC. Search for caches in that area. Hope this helps.
