Three new treasures have been posted! Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!

Yet another of my TB's has gone missing! First Dora the Explorer, now Jessie the Rowdy Cowgirl! People! Please! Please! Please treat these bugs with more concern & respect! Get them moving! Quickly! Get them logged in & out in a more timely fashion! And for cripe's sake! Put them in more secure, more stable & better established caches!! When ya get there & see that the cache is pretty much right out in the open, don't put a Travel Bug in there!! Save it for the cache that's hidden very well! Sheeesh!! I have one more set of TB tags, so I'll give it one more try! But this time I'm not sending out another super cool bug! No, this time I'll be sending out one of those un-named Star Trek ensigns in the red shirt! You know the ones! As soon as you see that red shirt, you just KNOW they're toast!! So, instead of seeing how far the TB travels, it'll be a game to see how soon it disapears into oblivion! Bummer! RIP Jessie & Dora The Pet Posse Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!

We stopped into a local surplus store to pick up a huge ammo can that we'll be needing soon for our new cache, when a guy comes up & starts looking at the smaller ammo cans. I openly stared at him for a few seconds, then asked him if he was a geocacher. At first, he tried to act all sly & innocent and asked what's that? But I could tell by the twinkle in his eyes that he was a fellow cacher! After a few minutes of covert banter, he finally fessed up & asked which team we were! Turns out he'd recently moved our TB, Dora The Explorer! We all chatted for a bit, exchanged pleasantries & hoped we'd see each other on the trail sometime, or meet again at one of our local geocaching picnics! I must say though, I didn't understand his need for secrecy or anonymity! After all, he'd recently attended a caching picnic & met several fellow cachers there. So, what's the big deal about running into other cachers in the field or while shopping for obvious supplies??? Personally, I would enjoy meeting fellow cachers, no matter the circumstances!! Why hasn't anybody retrieved a cool travel bug from a fairly new cache?? Won't someone please go rescue Frank Fugitive from Quechan Cache!! He's been in there for two weekends, he's probably all cramped up in there & screaming to be let out!! Congratulations! I know you'll love your new Meridian Platinum as much as we do, it's a fabulous GPS!!! So far, we haven't needed to upgrade to more memory & Topo Maps, but we may in the future. Here in Phoenix, we're all looking forward to the cooler weather! We just started geocaching in August, but we never let the 117 degree heat stop us from going out!! We just brought along a LOT of water & sunblock! You could stock up on trade items over the winter, then you'll be ready to go in the spring! Have a great time! It was a red, white & blue barbell shaped rubber toy. Samson the Westie took immediate possession of it as soon as he saw it coming out of the backpack! He didn't pay any attention to the other stuff, but the minute he saw that toy, he knew it was his!! We've gotten some nifty stuff since then. We keep them all in our signed & numbered ammo box that we picked up from the "FREE Ammo Box Cache" That was one tough hike for us, so we kept it as a cache goodie keeper!! We had a travelling postcard from Colorado, twice! All you do is write in the space provided your team name, where you placed it, date, etc.. Then you email the person listed on the card somewhere to let them know the postcard has moved. Could it be this person? miss_music_america@yahoo.com Because I know there are at least nine of those postcards out there somewhere! Good luck! If I can help further, just holler! One of our caches turned up missing, so this is the log we posted when archived! I assumed that the night shift Barney Fife didn't care for all the extra traffic near his drinking & porno area, so he confiscated our cache & resumed his nocturnal activities!! The cache is missing!!!! We looked everywhere for the container, it just wasn't there!! We DID however find the night shift Barney Fife's beer & PORN!!! That's right!! I said it! We found porn magazines & empty beer cans hidden up in the bushes near the cache site! I know, I know, some of you must be disappointed that YOU didn't find the porn! But don't be too bummed out, it wasn't even GOOD porn! I guess it's okay to drink and perform acts of self gratification while on the job! But participating in the innocent sport of geocaching is not allowed! And We get all the bad press here in Phoenix! Go figure! Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!

He DEFINATELY said "Geocaching" Perhaps some of the other Az cachers like WolfB8 or Sanddollar heard it as well! I'm pretty sure it was for a local car dealership, but not 100 % It may have been for a radio contest! Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!

Here in Phoenix yesterday, I heard only part of a radio commercial & the guy said: "so, the next time you're out geocaching....." I think it was for a local car lot or something! I was channel surfing & only got part of it, when I went back it was unfortunately over. Anyone else here in town able to hear the entire thing & know what it was? I am currently in possession of Frank Fugitive. Hoooweeee! Have we ever been having fun with him! He's gone Geocaching in his new caching clothes, visited an Ostrich Farm, thumbed a ride with two hot babes in a cool Jeep! He's hooked up with his old girlfriend Skipper, went out to dinner with her & got laid! I have pictures of their bedtime antics, if any fellow perverts out there would like to see them! Warning! They are very graphic, so I won't be able to post them on his bug page! He's going to a Carlos Santana concert tomorrow night, with back stage passes & a personal tour of the concert tour bus and hopefully having his picture taken with Carlos! Frankie is having some very cool adventures! He's been to Hawaii & was given a grass skirt! The last cacher to have him, Sewthere, took Frank to her uncle's ranch in Tucson,Az to try out his skills as a ranch hand! She sewed him a really nice duffle bag to carry all of the extra clothes & supplies Frank has been given since the start of his travels! He's a very cool travel bug that hopefully other cachers will have as much fun with as we've been having! Some of us have obviously been having waaaay TOO much fun with good ol' Frankie! There's a guy here in Phoenix that broke his leg getting to a lake area cache! He was toting his kayak or canoe up the hill & took a tumble! The cache owner told my husband the tale. Now, that's a bummer! But, it was really the cache seeker who's ultimately responsibe for himself. Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!

There was just a news story out about a guy that got a couple of bags of Pot with his chicken & biscuits at the drive thru window of his local fried chicken place! So....I guess stranger things have happened! Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!

My Hubby always wears one of two T-shirts while Geocaching, & now that we have a nice digital camera, we're going to start taking pictures of "The Shirt" at the cache site. Here in Arizona, we were lucky kids to have had the longest running children's television show in the history of TV! "The Wallace & Ladmo Show" ran for a whopping 35 years! Ask just about any 'Zonie if they ever got a Ladmo Bag, & see what they say! Wearing these T-shirts is our way of paying tribute to great childhood memories, and to have a bunch of fun while caching and making new memories! Check out Ladmo at the cache site! We just got a Sony Mavica CD250, it takes pics on a small cd disk, 100's of pics per disk!! We LOVE it!! You just pop the cd into the computer & upload the photos!! Waaay Cooool!! It's easy to use & takes very nice pictures! Dogs Have Owners....Cats Have Staff!!
