Planning a road trip from Salem, OR to Yellowstone NP next summer. I'm planning to stop at Craters of the Moon. I'm looking for a cacher/astronomer in the area with whom to organize a star party/event at Craters of the Moon.

I accidentally deleted a log. Is there any way to alter my find totals so I can re-log the cache without it changing my statistics? If I re-log the find, I'll be one ahead of myself (i.e. 621 finds instead of the 620 I actually have)? Thanks,

Thanks for the input all. I think I'll be going with the Dakota. The altimeter and the electronic compass sealed the deal. Looks like it's the most bang for the buck.

So, I've been looking at getting a unit better suited to caching than the Nuvi I was given for Christmas. I think I've narrowed things down to a choice between the Garmin Dakota 20 or the Magellan eXplorist 310. Any thoughts from the gallery? Thanks
