  1. Regarding the cinnamon rolls, has anyone seen where that missing tray of a dozen went? I cudda sworn I brought two dozen . Hmmm, I think my search party went out geocaching boysnbarrie
  2. Would Kwvers really think that someone who made that cache at night would have any qualms about crashing an event? I think maybe he heard about the free medical exams associated with this group and is worried they are non-voluntary. Perhaps some assurance is needed. "Non-voluntary" huh? Right there is th' 'hole thang in a nutshell. I wuz crawlin' along minding nobody's bidness but my own when all of a sudden Barrie was askin' me for my Kaiser card. I've heard of bedside manner butt gully-side manner is another thang entirely, know what I'm sayin'? Barrie darlin', you got that lovin' touch! Hey, listen! I don't play doctor with just any ol' geezer! I'm selective. boysnbarrie
  3. INVITATION? You got an invitation? (checks her email) Hmmm, I'm sure it's in there somewhere. (checks her email, again) Ohhh dear ... Is this some kind of a VIRTUAL MULTI PUZZLE INVITATION and I'm s'posed ta FIND IT, solve it, get the coords, and hope I did it right? WOAH! I SURE HOPE THERE'S A COORD CHECKER?
  4. Could have swore I was hanging from that limb in the top of the frame in the original! Leave it to Harmon to keep all photoshopped pictures serious and professional. Yeah, I know what you mean Ian. I thought some of us had Halloween costumes on, and one of us was wearing a kilt! Hmmm.
  5. Awww, you guys are all so wonderful! I'm looking forward to more caches, more adventures, and more of ... Harmon
  6. Of course YOU can join us! We can't say NO to the American Flag, that'd be ... just all wrong, if ya ask me. WOAH! This is too exciting now ... I've been wanting a flag pin for sooo long! Oh boy! Now we have PARTY FAVORS!!! This is going to be sooo much fun! Hey, everyone! FLAG PINS for everyone!!
  7. Hmmm, here are my answers: A. If you want there to be, of course. B. I have no idea. C. Yes! Don't forget to wear your official US Olympic approved wrestling outfit. D. Nah ... we don't need no stinkin' goggles! boysnbarrie
  8. Emails sent! Ohhh my! This is going to be quite a SMACKDOWN!! boysnbarrie Details please ... sounds like you might need a CSI photographer for this gig. Hmmm CSI? What's that mean? Comical, Stunning, and Intelligent? Are you offering to be the photographer?
  9. Emails sent! Ohhh my! This is going to be quite a SMACKDOWN!! boysnbarrie
  10. Impossible, mister kwvers? didn't YOU do this cache? ( chuckles in amusement) If you did it ... I'm pretty sure I can do it, too. boysnbarrie
  11. Hmmm. It appears I'm already ALL OUT of cinnamon rolls. The batch only makes 24 ... the kwvers require 8 rolls a day ... the campout is Fri., Sat., and Sun. ... sooo yeah, looks like I won't get any either. Aw man! Well, I guess that's how it goes. ( Shhhh! Listen up. Okay, geo-buddies ... THIS is where the aforementioned scapegoat comes into play. Shhhh. This mission is NOT impossible. Stealth is required here!! )
  12. For those of you who may have no idea what a "dite" is: dite –noun British Dialect. a bit (usually used in negative constructions): I don't care a dite. Origin: 1905–10; reflecting regional pron. of doit, in the sense “trifle”
  13. Yep, I had a feeling he'd work. boysnbarrie
  14. Woah, now I'm shocked! I NEVER thought the day would come when my ol' buddy Harmon would consider adulterating PUD. Now I'm wondering if he's alright , maybe I should take him some soup, too! Are you SICK ol' buddy? Ya got yerself a FEVER? What ailment you got, Harmon? Let me also say right here that I wasn't considering YOU for a scapegoat at all! Noooo, I was imagining someone else ... boysnbarrie
  15. Here is a nice big CINNAMON ROLL for you, FATBOY! ENJOY! boysnbarrie I think we need a breakfast event. Barrie could make cinnamon rolls, some-one could cook eggs and we could breakfast burritos....then we could all go hike 15 miles! Sounds good to me. I don't know if Boysnbarrie could make enough cinnamon rolls to satiate us all, though Well, I can make quite a few! Problem is ... the kwvers! will need at least 8, and if someone messes that up it'll be BAD! I'd point the finger at uh ... let's see ... who'd be a good scapegoat? Hmmm. (think, think, think) boysnbarrie
  16. Here is a nice big CINNAMON ROLL for you, FATBOY! ENJOY! boysnbarrie
  17. You mean for Thunder4? Y'all are thinking of him, right? ( Oh dear ... I knew this could get ugly. )
  18. What, no PUD cake?!?! I guess you only do that for Harmon!! OhMyGoodness! These local geocachers sure are looking out for Thunder4! Of course I'd bring him PUD cake, if he wanted some that is. Not EVERYONE is a big fan of PUD tho. He might prefer some of my much loved and highly sought after Cinnamon Rolls. If I make those, tho, you'll have to look out for those Kwvers! They go kinda nuts around 'em. Yeah, kinda reminds me of that cartoon character Tasmanian Devil just watchin' them go at 'em! Yikes ! I wonder if I should bring some of those to the campout ... hmmm. Could get ugly, tho; maybe I better not. Whoops! I digress ... my point is that I would certainly bring a well rounded nutritious meal with some sort of a treat if he'd like. That's what friends are for, right FlagMan? What are you going to make, eh? boysnbarrie
  19. 21 hours and counting down. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas! I'll post on the forums and on FB as soon as I am alert enough. That will probably be Thursday. Thanks for all your calls and emails over the last few days. It really means a lot! I am looking forward to hearing how everything went. If you need some home-made soup once you get home, let me know; I'd be happy to bring you some. boysnbarrie
  20. CONGA RATS TO ... Let's Look Over Thayer - Yrium TNG #12 I'm back from Max's on a successful mission for TheFatCats, The Lost Clan, kwvers!, and myself. Why are they always out of town when the next Yrium card is released? LOL, oh well ... I don't mind helping out my geo-buddies! Another awesome job by Harmon and Tom! These cards look incredible. Kudos to Paul for choosing LLOT! Wow, everytime I look at this layout I smile ... GREAT JOB!
  21. That's the cool thing about caching. You discover all sorts of things that most people never get to see. I think the most bizarre thing that I have ever found was a nun-shaped dildo. If you get the chance, ask Blondes Run Amuck about what they found one day when they were caching... (By the way, anyone know whether they ever identified the remains?) Speaking of bizarre things found while caching. I found a full set of women's clothing and a pair of fake silicone breasts in the bushes near Mt. Soledad. I don't think that beats the nun-shaped dildo however... I swear I've never been to Mt. Soledad!! I didn't do it!! Nobody saw me!! You can't prove anything!!! OhMYGosh! You found my missing clothes?
  22. Of course you wouldn't Barrie dear, you be law-abidin'. A man would have rocks in his head t' think you would do that. So how many GeoPassengers does your little yellow school bus hold by th' way? ... and has it been lifted and tricked out for serious off-road ramblin'? Lockers? GPS Navigation system? Ol' geezer, Harmon SD Rowdies & Sandy Creek Cowboys Note to Self: Self, remember ... Barrie = PUD cake. Well, when determining passengers ... it all kinda depends on yer uh ... girth. If I'm transporting high school football players in my yellow limo, then I can take 9 to 18. However, if I'm transportin' lil' ballerinas I can take 24+! So ... I don't know about you, Harmon, but have you seen many geocachers that fit the ballerina size girth visual? I can only think of a handful, personally. Uh oh ... HARMON! Are you trying to git me in TROUBLE AGAIN??? Aw geez! boysnbarrie
  23. Harmon? Are you trying to get me fired? I shur hope you've got another PUD cake connection, you ol' geezer! I don't want it getting around that I would EVER use my school bus to EVER go pick up a geocache! Nooooo, that would NEVER happen. I would NEVER stop while on the clock to pick up a geocache that was right along the road. Coz, uh ... that'd be wrong. Yeah, WRONG thing to do. All wrong. (mumbles incoherently)
  24. After the first 60 seconds of the show, I was groaning, wondering why, oh why, does L&O have it in for geocachers! Why do they find it necessary to misrepresent us so? At least the cachers didn't have anything to do with the murder! I guess we should be thankful for that... No wait just a darned minute, how many of you have - A. Hung a Bison tube in a huge bush? B. Placed a container in rip-rap? C. Hung a container on fishline? D. Hidden one under a lamp-post skirt? E. Put a hide in poison ivy? G. Thought up stuff like the Dalmatian series? H. Hidden caches on high mountain peaks? I. Hidden M&M containers in storm drains? Be honset, maybe a little Law & Order is in order here. Well, I'm guilty of point C., but I'm still learning. Right now I'm hoping to get point H taken care of; and I have someone special in mind, thanks for reminding me, ol' pal! boysnbarrie
