I agree it's a shame we can't do this. I don't know who this resounding population is, but I have never been asked if I would like this feature or not, and neither has anyone I know. As long as you don't allow autostart I can't see the problem. I'm imagining men with long white beards and suspenders carrying their unix machines around saying bah humbug. A few years ago I did a poll of our 200 user local group as to how many used a GPS vs a phone. The vast majority used GPS but almost everyone used a GPS to hide with. This year the same poll cam back with GPS users well below 10% and almost everyone switching from GPS to phone apps (GPS Averaging). When I speak of GPS above I'm talking about handheld GPS units like my 62s that now sits in a box. Not the GPS function of phone apps. Please put me in what I believe the real resounding thinks. I'd love to have this option available.
