  1. All makes sense, was just asking if there is a better way to find good locations. Thanks to all.
  2. I and that is really my point - a tool that lets you know if the point is free which out have to solve every cache would benefit all it. matt
  3. thanks for the advice - i will re attempt the local mutli and puzzles to know exactly where everything is.
  4. Makes life difficult when you are unable to solve the multi or puzzle cache in the area and hence you are in the dark - there has got to be a better way for this matt
  5. Hi, Maybe an easy question but can not find the answer. Just tried to submit 3 caches we created but all are near multi caches that we do not know the location of. Is there a way to submit a co-ord and then test it is ok before all the effort of setting up the cache and then waiting for a review, Many thanks.
  6. Thanks to all - I ended up buying the garmin gpsmap 62sc as I was concerned how visible screens were in direct sun light. Many videos say it is the best for this. Is been a lot of fun to use, 22 caches so far, the keys are slower than a touch screen, but compared to my iphone it is way more accurate and much easier to view in the direct sun. I still may buy another gpsr and use the 650t for urban geo cahcing. Matt
  7. I recently bought the gpsmap62sc - thanks to janandsteve for your advice on how to setup. Too many options. any further tips on all the settings would be great, as there are so many - I too bought the gpsr for geo caching. cheers matt
  8. Hi, Interested in peoples view on the best gps for geocaching? Currently consider Montana 650t OR eXplorist 710 portable gps models. My thoughts so far is the 650t, due to the bigger screen, more accessories and easy connection to geocacaching web site. Any feedback would be appreciated greatly. Matt
