  1. Let's hear more about the "homeless camps" and the perceived danger. Are they known to be high-crime areas? High crime areas yes, maybe, no, Im not sure. But what I do know is I am not willing to be anywhere without my sidearm. If I encounter somewhere I cannot be with a firearm I will not go there. And in my opinion I do feel that a person down on their luck is more prone to the notion of committing crimes then someone who isn't.
  2. I carry a sidearm everywhere I go no matter what Im doing. I have stumbled across a couple homeless camps while cacheing on the edge of some urban areas. Plus I am out in the wilderness alot due to all my outdoor hobbies which take me into bear, wolf, and coyote country with the ocansional mountain lion passing through the area.
  3. I take wooden craft shapes and use a wood burner to burn images into them and our geo name and trade for other sig items kids trade the generic swag our daughter makes friendship bracelets and trades those someties. Like others have said handmade swag rocks as long as it stays somewhat appropriate

  16. Ill rephrase that I wasnt going to turn in anyone especially since I cant guarantee they did it just report that i found swag that is against the guidelines.
  17. We had recently found some firecrackers (black cats which I disposed of and made a note on my online log about it) in a geocache and from the names that signed the log I think I know who did it. Does this warrant being turned in to GC, or should i just let it go?
  18. If it is state land then the DNR if it is county land then either the county forestry dept or county parks and rec sometimes they are the same dept, city land contact the park and rec or city hall And the reviewers I have to deal with require you to state who granted you permission in your cache description even though it is not required. All that it states is that you get permission. GC guidelines
