  1. Emails submitted over the weekend can sometimes take a business day or two to get responded to, due to the sheer volume we receive. That said, your email sent to contact@geocaching.com has been responded to regarding this issue.
  2. Need more information to be able to assist... Is this all caches? What have you tried so far? Do you get any error messages? What browser/version are you using? What is the failure point, meaning at what point does the process fail?
  3. As a workaround, you can use the Google Maps to browse caches in your state.
  4. As far as I know, usage of a background or evena logo is completely optional. Have you already submitted the cache page? When you're filling out the form, you'll get to a field labeled 'Background Image URL'. The address must start with 'http://' and point to an image already on the Internet. I hope this helps!
  5. As far as I know, there isn't a specific txt msg feature going into place. However, you CAN get your emails sent to your phone. The most straight forward way, is via your phone's email address. For example, if you're like me and are with ATT (formerly Cingular) your phone's email address is phone#@txt.att.net. I'm sure if you contact your specific carrier, they will be able to tell you what yours is. I hope this helps.
  6. I own one as well and took it with me geocaching this past weekend. Let me tell you, it was a life saver! There's something to be said for being able to snap pictures, post them to flickr, read the cache page, email the owner and browse maps all while looking for a cache.

Under the menu on the left hand side of the page that comes up is a link for your inbox.) In there you will now find a copy of the email I sent you on 7/2/07. I emailed about this on July 03, and never heard back from them. Now, no one will answer my Emails. Sent another one today. Check your email. It's possible that your provider or ISP are blocking or filtering them. I have responded to your emails regarding this issue.

    This is in reference to the "Geocaching.com Maps". You will see this option to the lower-left side of every cache page.

    The "Geocaching.com Maps" will continue to exist as far as I know. The maps server is being restarted right now so hopefully that'll resolve the icon issue.

  17. Sorry, but join dates are set to when you created the username and are not something Groundspeak alters.
  18. Since email being returned is tied to your specific email address, I suggest you try contacting your email or Internet provider to see what they say. Additionally, you might wish to send us an email directly to contact@geocaching.com so we can investigate after that.
  19. Make sure that 'Within' is not set for a state when using My Home Coordinates.
  20. Are you referring to the email or the preview that's not producing results?

  22. It's usually sent out between Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. However, we haven't sent it out yet this week.
