Are you running AVG software by chance? If so, we have been made aware of a recent AVG update that is causing select emails from us to arrive blank. Additionally, a geocacher wrote to me with these steps to try: >> Open AVG user interface >> In the top left menu click Tools > Advanced settings >> In the panel on the left click email scanner >> In the panel on the right look under email scanning >> Leave Check incoming email ticked but... >> Untick certify email >> This way AVG can be left on. Also all incoming mail is still scanned. I hope this information helps you. Thanks, I have made these changes. I am using AVG, so that was probably the problem. Did those steps work for you?

  12. You bet! http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...t&p=3032392
  13. Assuming everything is good shape, (the name isn't already taken, you sent the request from the email address registered to your username, etc) the change is instant upon us making it. Don't worry, we'll let you know when it has been made by replying to your email request.
  14. It's actually simpler than that. Think of it liking your account is a vehicle and your username is the license plate. In this analogy, by changing your username you are getting a custom plate instead of your stock license plate. The car remains untouched but now the new plate is everywhere the car is. The only acception, is owned geocaches. The owner listed can be anything the owner wants, so that would need to be manually changed.
  15. I think this KB article answers your question http://support.Groundspeak.com/Support/ind...kbarticleid=253 If not, please send an email to contact@geocaching.com and we can dig deeper.
  16. What is "It (the site)" in question? If it's http://store.Groundspeak.com you must create a Store account prior to purchase. Usefulness built right in: If you're referring to something else, please send off an email to contact@geocaching.com so we can get you squared away.
  17. Were you using PayPal? It's possible that your PayPal Subscription may have expired. In which case, you'll want to visit this page to make a new payment http://www.geocaching.com/subscribe
  18. If you are referring to PayPal Subscriptions, it depends on the source of the funds. I've seen PayPal take as long as a couple weeks to clear a payment made from a checking account. Most people tend to gravitate towards using a credit card as the source, being that it's "guaranteed" funds. Once the payment is listed as "cleared" in your PayPal History, all you have to do to update your account is enter the S-# that PayPal generates for you into this page http://www.geocaching.com/subscribe
  19. There is no place to enter an Email and password! What do I do now? Wait and see? I'm a bit unlucky with support here so I thought of going there to report but I get the same unlucky result over there. Should I or ? Si au moins je pouvais écrire tout ce que je ressens aussi bien en anglais qu'en français, je crois que je saurais peut-être mieux me faire comprendre... pour l'instant c'est très frustrant! Sorry about that, Rhialto. Unfortunately, the ticketing system is misbehaving. Going forward, your best bet is just to email us directly at contact@geocaching.com to avoid that message. Additionally, we're still working on emails we received on Friday through today so it may take a little while until your message is responded to. First come, first serve and all that. It's a good thing we all participate in the best activity for killing time...

  23. After you update your profile with the gmail address, make sure you validate it. After that, try creating a notification from scratch that you know will warrant notification. Something to the affect of 50 files from your home coordinates for published traditionals. If you still come up empty after two days, fire off an email to contact@geocaching.com with all the steps you've tried and what your notification settings are.
