I know it is the feeling of accomplishment like you mentioned, but I have traveled 100+ miles to do some caches, just to find them basically empty, or maybe have loose change rattling around the bottom. It doesn't bother me as much as it does my kids! I hate it when I see the look of disappointment on my 7 year, and 4 year old kids face. They are so excited about going to find "treasure", yet the caches contain the same items that they just took out of a happy meal during lunch! I really do think that people should think about it before they put items in caches. They should stop, and ask themselves one question... I have a Garmin GPSMAP76, and use the EasyGPS software to upload all of the waypoints to the unit. The problem is that the GPSMAP76 has the standard "waypoint" icon on every waypoint that you save. I want the "geocaching" icon, but don't want to change them individually in the EasyGPS software. I do know how to add them to the gps and have the "geocaching" icon, but was wondering if there was a way to make every waypoint be the "geocaching" logo instead of having to change them individually. It is a pain to download 300-400 waypoints, and them change the icon on each one.... ONE BY ONE! Any ideas?
