I live in the Tampa Bay area, and this afternoon at 3:30 the Tampa Tribune wants to get with my family for an interview on geocaching. The problem that I am having is that we have found all the caches in the area, yet they want us to take them on a cache hunt. All of the caches around us were actually placed by us, and there isn't any available for the amount of daylight we will have. I also would like to take them to a cache that has been logged so they can see just how many people are involved in the sport. A fellow geocachers was going to hide a cache in the area, but that would me that we would be the first finders, and no logs for the reporters to read. I figured that the best thing to do would be to take them on a mock cache hunt for one of my own, and let them try to find it. I would like to know what others have done in this situation? I know that they only have one find. It is a vendor of mine, and I was telling them about geocaching. I received an email through the system, and they were telling me that they found one in California, and it was their first find. I had a user contact me through the systems email, and I erased it by mistake before I could reply. The problem is that my Microsoft Outlook will delete it immediately instead of placing it into the delete folder so it can be deleted later. The user was mr&mrsabc, and I can find nothing on them.
