  1. Me 69, her 65. Just started geocaching, having fun. No sense just sittin' around.
  2. Thankyou very much for your responses. Happy geocaching!
  3. Using Windows 7 on my desktop and managing Pocket Queries, Creating routes and enjoying geocaching immensely with my Desktop and Garmin Oregon 450. Will I be inviting problems if I decide to try out Linux Ubuntu operating system? Would be glad to hear if anyone is using this ubuntu.
  4. Thankyou for your responses. I think I was looking for something more difficult. I got one to work now.
  5. And to add, if your PQ has 501 caches or more in it, it will ONLY be available for download from the PQ page -as above. (And, your My Finds PQ is only available from there, even if you have less than 500 cache finds)
  6. I have the Garmin Oregon 450. I can fill in the pocket query form, preview it, and receive the e-mail. I always have problem where to go from the e-mail. I use hotmail, and if I click on the blue link, it goes to another box. I click on the GPX file for caches, but then I get an adobe red icon, which screws me up. So, I go back to the email and click on the "Zip Download" which gives me the zip icon on the desktop. Can somebody explain to me what to do from the email to the GPS? Please and Thankyou. Sorry for not explaining too clearly, just a newbie.
  7. I have the Nuvi 50LM. You can only download the co-ordinates, no pocket queries and I get pretty close to the cache. It's really not intended for detailed geocaching. I recently bought the Garmin Oregon 450 for geocaching and find its very good, downloading Pocket Queries etc. So I use the Nuvi 50Lm for driving to the cache site, and the Oregon for actual searching.
