  1. What she said Followed by Horatio Sanz—he's so funny!
  2. Love this thread! We don't always take ours with us, as we like to scope the location first. Herman (Great Dane) is great for pulling you up a hill after a long day of walking. He has so much energy he can go all day. Our little rescue Chihuahua Coco is also always up for an adventure. It's amazing how well she can keep up with her big brother.
  3. Right, I guess I was barely dirty then. You didn't still plant the cache did you?
  4. That is gutwrenching. I hope they serve time!
  5. I fell in some pungent muck while geocaching the other day. The smell was incredible, and I was completely covered from shoulder to knees on my backside. I can't be the only one with rotten luck. Please tell your tale if you would.
  6. Hi I was looking at the classifieds section on myspace and found this Magellan for sale if anyone's interested. http://collect.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...D5924E238046376
  7. When you read a post called "You Know You're Hooked When..."
  8. We ended up buying a Magellan eXplorist 200, probably shouldn't have—but hey, you only live once. We found a cache using the Sony pixis today. It actually worked great, but it's just way too big. We would like to take our dogs on some of these caches but trying to work the pixis and walk a great dane is just ridiculous. Thanks to everyone for their help
  9. Sorry I'm a newbie to forums too. I couldn't figure out how to delete 1st one.
  10. Hi, I was wondering if this outdated unit would do the trick for now. We tried it for the first time today and it got us to the right spot initially, but couldn't seem to lock in on our second target (was giving us multiple locations.)I later noticed a poster for this cache had mentioned it would get difficult once the trees started getting leaves, so I can't tell if we were in the right area or not. I found a similar unit on ebay. It was about to expire with no bids, for 1 penny—so I'm assuming this unit is either completely defunct; or no one wants to program manually and downgrade to very few options. A new gps isn't an option right now, so we hope this can work. Any input is appreciated. What a great pastime!
