A teacher has emailed me the following request. Can anyone assist? I would love to be able to have a device that has wifi so that I could give the students the device……They check my website with it to find out where the item is hidden…… then use the GPS capabilities on the device to find it….. and then to e-mail me as soon as the device is found all using one device. I have been doing a little research and it seems that some of the palm devices that have wifi would be the best. Do you have any recommendations? And is the software for the GPS good enough to find something within 20-50 feet?

Hi Cheng, I am in California - lived in Sumatra. Working to integrate GPS/Geocaching into middle school lessons. Am thinking about using waypoints to put together routs that are of historical significance - i.e. the Silk Road - for trade. Perhaps the spread of religions - Buddism, Islam, Hindu etc. What do you think? Lauri
