A family member of mine is in law enforcement. During some of their initial training, an edged weapon specialist was brought into class to show them how deadly something as simple as a steak knife could be in a situation. The look of shock on my family member's face as they were relating the story about how easily this instructor "killed" them was enough for me. I respect the seriousness of any edged weapon. I have a 1gig for my XL and it's about 85% loaded with street maps, I might back off some areas so I can load some TOPO's also. If price is no concern, Go Large...

I don't see how it can be called theft, You did buy the unit. It would be out of warrenty... I have several electronic toys that have been hacked and are used in a different manner than they were sold for.

What are you using to test the Accuracy?

There is 3 usb modes on the XL, Power Only, NEMA Transfer and File Transfer. You have to be file transfer mode to upload to the unit. I just got my XL last week and it was a little wierd with the different usb modes.

I believe you have to log out then log back in to get the sig to update. As for the title, You have to be a Premium Member.... Please someone correct me if I'm mistaken..

I think it's more of people who are inexperienced with firearms that cause most of the gun related problems, I've had a permit for close to 20 years, Never have had to use it, Drawn it quite a few times, But never fired at a live subject. (We'll not since I was Discharged).... Anywho there is a lot of places that you can't carry, even with a permit. Unless your a sworn Officer.
