I can't wait to go use it later................

I'm hoping for T-Shirts with the 4-color GC.com logo. I'd wear these myself and stuff them into caches as a FTF prize.
I'd LOVE to be able to buy a few of these. The other non-GC T-Shirts I have seen just don't cut it for me.
Pretty please??
I second that motion. Also would like a tshirt with signal (not the CITO one). We would buy several of those.

Thanks so much for the update. I will be looking forward to the next release.
Thanks again,
Sharnie
Reading the GE forums about this issue, it seems that a fix has been found. However, it won't show until the next release. So, next time an update for GE 4.0 beta is available, hopefully this issue will be resolved.
Anyone else who knows more, please correct me if I have misunderstood the cause and solution.

I'm having the same problem and really don't like it. I am thinking of going back to previous version. Hopefully someone can shed some light for us.

You will need to download Cachemate to your computer. Its best to place it in the "Pocket_Pc My Documents" (that is what mine is called). Then you sync your Dell and then go to My documents on the Dell and install it onto the Dell Axim. Cachemate is not for your computer.
For your computer, I suggest GSAK.
I hope this helps, if not let me know and I will try to make it more clear.

I'm another pocket pc user. I have the Dell Axim X5 with Cachemate on it. GSAK for the pc.......
I just happen to have the Dell Axim before caching. So it came in handy.

I watch it and love it as well. Makes me want to be there.

I am looking for "goodies" that have Signal on them. I just love that guy. He makes me smile. So I've been searching for shirts, etc. I have found nothing.
Anyone else want items with Signal on them? Yes, I know there is an antenna ball and stuffed Signal. But I want a shirt, hat or something like that.

Once I know people, I'm afraid I can be the outspoken one........ LOL

I stand corrected. I was not aware that they had released a version for the pocketPC. However, this version, as far as I can tell from their webpage, still does not work with GPX files natively, which GPXSonar does.
I hope I didn't come off as rude. I didn't mean to. I'm sorry if that is how it was interpreted.
I am not 100% sure, but I believe it does work with GPX filels natively. I export out of my GSAK into a folder (I named my caches) and then I sync with my Pocket PC. Then I open Cachemate and import the GPX file from the folder that it sync'ed from.
I hope this makes sense and I didn't confuse anyone. Again, if my reply earlier seemed harsh, I did not intend for it to.

Cachemate will only work on the Palm. It does not work on the PPC.
Actually, Cachemate DOES have a version that works on PPC. You can get it from www.smittyware.com. It works great for me. I really like having Cachemate on my handheld.
Hope this helps someone.

Thanks so much for the replies. I plan on attending then so I can meet others. When it comes to meeting new people, I am a little shy. I hope I don't get too nervous.
Thanks everyone,

Hello.....
I am a new cacher. There is an event (meeting) in my area next week. Is it for anyone/everyone? Or because it is a meeting , it is only for certain people.
I am wanting to meet other cachers in the area but want to make sure I don't step on anyone's toes or do something I should not be doing.
Thanks for any help,
Sharnie
P.S. The event does not state it is private.

Not a bad idea...the only thing that comes to mind is the smell from the sweat and not washing that the cast might have when its removed. LOL
Great thinking!

I am new to this game (only 18 finds) and I'm just shocked. I read the forums daily and enjoy most of it. I am just shocked that adults act like this. We are ADULTS! We should respect others and not act like teenagers.

P.S. My husband is in the military and served in Iraq(2 tours to be exact) as well. I'm not saying this to get a "count", I'm saying to let you all know that I can relate to the feelings some are having.

I really don't have a "preferred man" to cache with, I would just like a man (not pointing fingers at my husband or anything) that doesn't take over MY gps!

Well I came across my first one today. It was beside me and I didn't see it. My husband had to point it out. I am very very fearful of them and have a little phobia as well. I froze and my husband had to yell at me to get me to come out. I never found the cache I was looking for, but I did continue to look. At that moment, I was trying to decide just how much I like caching. I pray that I can get past my fear so I can continue this sport, I love it. Oh by the way, thank goodness it was probably just a grass snake. It was solid green and on a very thin weed. I would have never known it was there on the weed. It blended in well.

Go to "My Account".........look on the right hand side and scroll till you see "Google Mapping Features". You click on the "Download Geocache browser in Google Earth.
I am not sure if you need to be a premium member or not.
Hope this helps.

I don't look at my surroundings the same anymore. I am thinking, "is there a cache out there somewhere" or "is that a good challenging place for a cache". That is all I think while out and about now.

Giving Away My Coins for Leukemia Research
in Trackables
Posted
I have made a contribution and would be honored to receive one of your coins. I lost my father to Leukemia many years ago. He was 38 years old. This was actually before they knew much about bone marrow transplants. Would he still be alive if the research was more advanced back then? God only knows.
That being said, it is because of research that everyday they get closer and closer to finding cures for this horrible illness. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your life to climb for such a good cause. You are greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Sharnie
