  1. So, several years ago I bought several coins and series coins. While I've enjoyed having them, I'm finding it time to let someone else enjoy them, too. The coins are all from 2005-2006 and unactivated. What would be the best way to sell these? I've thought about doing a "lot" sale on ebay or selling them individually...but thought I'd see if there was any interest in these forums first. Here's my list of what I have, please make me an offer and maybe we can make a deal? 1. Geocache America Commemorative Silver Coin made with 1 Troy ounce of solid .999 fine silver (with certificate of authenticity). Coin sealed in a hard plastic case and comes in a blue "ring box" 2. 3 piece Definitive Geocoin Series, coins 1, 2, and 3 that define Geocache, Geocacher, and Geocaching. 3. 4 piece Definitive Geocoin Series, coins 1, 2, 3, and 4 that define Virtual Cache, Webcam Cache, Locationless Cashe, and Earthcache. 4. 4 piece geocoins that fit together to make a puzzle. 5. 2006 Heart Shaped geocoin with a bandaid "Honoring those wounded in the pursuit of a cache" Gold color coin. 6. 2006 Geocoin Club silver color coin "Annuit Ceptis" in a plastic case (case is cracked, but coin is fine). 7. Wizard of Oz, Green and Yellow Cache "1st cache in Sheridan County, Kansas" 8. "What geocache will we seek today?" Coin in the shape of a GPS with a little spinner on it. 9. June 2006 Geocoin Club Shell shaped coin with a "pearl" on it, also with a small matching lapel pin. 10. July 2006 Sock Puppet geocoin with matching lapel pin, made by Geoswag.com. 11. World Travel Coin (blue) made by oakcoins.com 12. The Original Stash Coin with a satellite, can of beans, Stash #1 bucket, and GPS on the front. 13. 2006 Compass Rose Geocoin in silver. 14. Earth Geocoin (blue) 2006 "Where on earth is that geocache? Third Rock from the Sun". 15. February 2006 "Ghosts of Caching Past" from Geocoin Club with a yellow jeep on one side, and a grave on the other side. 16. 2006 Coin shaped like a film cannister, ammo color with the geocaching logo, says "Not another Micro!" 17. "Caching with the luck of the Irish, That's no Blarney!" round geocoin, gold color, with a leprechaun and rainbow. 18. 2006 California Geocoin "The California Experience" with pretty scenes on both sides. 19. Miniature Sea Turtle in red, from Coins and pins.com 20. 2006 Circle of Public Safety Emergency Response Law Enforcement, Fire, Rescue, EMS. 21. 2005 Maine's First Geocache "Fort Williams Cache" (this coin doesn't seem to have a valid tracking # on it, but there is one present. 22. April 2006 Geocoin Club coin with purple iris and a cache. 23. 2006 Nebraskache Geocorn Coin with an ear of corn on it. 24. 2005 Iowa Geocoin "The Hawkeye State - if You Hide it, They will come." 25. Geocoin Club March 2005 "Cache Hunters, Can You See Me Now?" The coins have not been activated, and have been sitting in a wood box. Would I be better off selling these on ebay individually, as a lot? Or would someone one here want to make an offer? I'd love to get these to someone who would truly enjoy them! Thanks! 2. My favorite things to take that I never have to bring leftovers home.... Hash brown casserole (very easy and is always a bit hit) and Rice Krispies treats - who doesn't love those?????
  3. I work as a Travel Nurse, meaning I do contracts at hospitals that are short staffed (basically, I can go anywhere in the country I want to). I start a new contract about every 13 weeks or so, moving to a new part of the country. IE, been in Wyoming for the past 4 months, and tomorrow I leave for Boston (my company finds/pays for my housing - fully furnished, with utilities and pays for my transportation costs). Not only can I cache on my way TO the new location, I can cache for the 13 weeks that I'm actually there since I work 3 12 hr shifts per week. So, I can get a whole new list of caches every time I move! Cool, huh? I'm still a newbie to this, so I'm pretty pumped about new places, new caches (to me, anyway) that I can handle as a newbie, and never run out of options. I would have done more caches here in Wyoming while I was here, but taking care of the rattlesnake bite patient in the ER has pretty much turned me into a hermit! I have a horrible phobia of snakes, and was even freaked out by taking care of someone ELSE who had been bitten! Hopefully Boston will have more caches that aren't quite so dangerous with the snakes for me.. Happy Caching! Jen911
  4. Thank you all for the tips, they are incredibly helpful! When I go to Boston I'll be there for 3 months, and then I'll go to another location. I work as a Travel Nurse, so I go all over the country, perfect for geocaching! Again, thanks! Jen911
  5. What a coincidence, I didn't even notice! Anyway, thanks for a great day and getting my geo-caching off to a fantastic start! Even though you created all three sites, it gave me three very different experiences. My hat is tipped to you! Jen911
  6. Thank you so very much! Guess I was searching for the wrong thing. Today was my first day out searching, and found 3 out of 3 that I set out to find. This drive to Boston might be VERY long so I can stop and find lots of caches! Again, thanks a million for the help! Jen911
  7. I'll be driving from Wyoming to Boston in a couple weeks, and I was wondering if there's any way to search along my route of travel to find caches to hunt other than by searching each "area" ?? Say, if I want to search along Interstate 80 between here and there? Any simple way to do this?? I'll be travelling with my 8 yr old God-daughter and thought this might be a great way of breaking up the trip for her. (I'm just getting started myself, so I'm pretty green!) Thanks!! Jen911
