  1. I can tell you one of the resons why this would happen. I picked up the Prince Froggers TB7EF TB it the Cadillac Pathways cache (GC4D41). I loged it and noticed that the people that moved it from its last loged cache didn't bother to log it in between. No one loged it into Cadillac Pathways. so what I did was "grabed" the TB, placed it into Cadillac Pathways, and then "retreved" it again. something like some one logging it into a virtual to transfer a bug to some one else.
  2. I just picked up bug TB7EF (my first one) and It has had an interesting trip so far (even though it back within 50 miles of its starting point). it looks like 2 weeks ago some one droped it off 30 miles south of me and never loged it. I grabed the bug, placed it in the cache, and grabed it from the cache again so it would show up as having been in that cache in the first place. I'm putting it in my cache tomorow. I'm thinking of converting my cache into a TB Hotel seeing that that I am on a major north-south highway (US 131 in Michigan 8 miles south of M-72) and making a new cache some where else. I could just call it a TB Hotel & Cache and have to bags. one for the bugs, one for the cache. what do you guys think?

Just start looking around for the places where YOU would hide something. If there are two rocks stacked on top of one another, check it out. If the grass seems pushed down or trampled in one spot, check it out. If you see a suspicious cord running up the side of a tree, check it out. My gps NEVER reads out zero once I've found a cache. If it did, this game would not be any fun. when my GPS says its zero I start looking thats when I'm within about 13 to 30 feet of it depending ot the treecover Noel

  5. I plan on getting myself a eTrex Vista as soon as I get my income tax return back next year (along with a Yaesu VX-7R) I have been using my dads Garmin 12XL. It does get me to the caches, but its very bothersome to have to be walking to get it to update the arrow and have to walk past the cache sevral times to get a better idea of where it is by watching the arrow. it seems to me that the built in compass would help in that area quite abit. I went to a cache saturday where there was some kinda thick tree taht I thought was interfering with it, but come ot find out it was just that the coords. were off by about 50 to 70 feet. Noel W8TVI
