What's with the religious stuff?
beezerb replied to Keith Arnold's topic in General geocaching topics
We have never had anyone actually use them as trade items in any of our caches, just leave them. Also never had anyone remove one or trade for one that we know of. We clean them out along with any business cards if they are taking up to much room when we do cache maintenance. In caches we find we just ignore them unless they are wet then we will remove them when drying out the rest of the cache. -

Thanks IWC for doing the testing. We will keep the PB jars for other uses. As for ammo can testing this cache - http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LU...7d-1bee8901af50 - should stand as a test for them. -

It was the Wikihow of the day on my Google home page. http://www.wikihow.com/Go-Geocaching. After reading the article I though “aren't any of those around here”, but checked to out anyhow. Surprise! Beezer (aka Bob) already had a GPSr that he was always trying to get me to learn how to use but I didn't want anything to do with it. I ask him it this was something he could do with his GPS thingy. I went with him on “his” first hunt. He had to get himself a new GPSr since I wouldn't let the one “we” already owned go..... mine, mine, mine!

Rash of stolen and destroyed caches..

Dang! What kind of critter do they hunt in Pennsylvania? Just can't picture any hunter I know carrying an ammo box full of ammo. I have seen ammo boxes used on commercial rafting trips to keep small items dry. Mrs. Beezerb -

Nope, was going to look them up but knight2000 posted a picture before we googled it. I (Mrs. Beezerb) want the bird. -
We're both allergic to bullets but have never suffered ill effects after opening an ammo can.
