Have you ever been caching during nesting season and been divebombed by nesting birds? The back of my head still stings a little bit from an encounter I had earlier today with a redwing blackbird and his mate, where the female was doing a great job of defending her nest, but pulled out a bunch of my hair. Sheesh, it scared me silly, and since I was already past the tree, I had to run back with my coat over my head and arms in front of my face, through the mud....all I can say is I wish we could have gotten a photo of it.

It really depends on the type of unit you have. I know that Garmin sells bike mount attachments for most of its units. Try www.REI.com or the website for your brand of GPS unit. My husband puts his GPS on his bike all the time with no probs. Jalynne

hehe, or appointments out, or lunch dates, or.... you see, i'm getting the hang of this already, and it's not even been a week since my first find yet! I really want to get a FTF, though...just have to get up early enough in the morning. Maybe this summer. Jymnjenn

I'm a newbie, but for my own personal finds (this is being posted under my family profile), I am making seahorse pendants out of polymer clay. I collect seahorses, and it's a fairly unusual thing to collect. Our family stash item is dice, because we love playing games, and my husband and I have spent many happy hours playing role playing games. jymNjenn
