  1. I would suggest not enabling this cache until well after harvest season. Hopefully, as mentioned above, when the growers find their plants gone they will never return. If you do reactivate this cache now you should post a prominent warning on the cache page. We have a responsibility to inform folks of dangerous situations that are not obvious to the searcher. When I disabled the cache I put a note in the logging page about the situation. I won't re-enable for atleast a month and will check the site area weekly before I re-enable it. Thanks, DIDS
  2. No they didn't seem to concerned. They said they would keep an eye on the area to make sure nothing more pops up. DIDS
  3. Hi All, This is a first for me. Recently a user logged a DNF on my cache so I went out today to verify the cache was still there. When I was going to the cache I came across 2 marijuana plants in pots 5 feet away from my cache. I immediately left the area the exact way I came in and drove to the local Sheriff's department to report it. I led the Sheriff's back to the plants and we discovered 2 more plant pots but they were empty. It looks like the marijuana was already harvested from those pots. One of the Sheriff's didn't seem to like geocacher's to much due to an incident that happened with a bomb scare involving someone else cache. I disabled the cache temporarily and will keep an eye on the area. Should I just archive it or if no more plants pop up should I re-enable the cache after a month or so? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, DIDS

  10. Sign into your Paypal account and go to the History Tab. In the "SHOW:" dropdown box select Subscriptions and use a search date that your last mounthly charge was made. Click the search button and you should see the Monthly subscription for Groundspeak. Select cancel subscription and you will not be charged monthly anymore. DIDS

  15. Hey MouseFart. I am very new to this and have been enjoying it for the past 4 days. I just took my 6 year old daughter out yesterday and we had a blast. She was very excited about finding the caches and we ended up logging 6 caches yesterday. Once you get out there and find your first couple you and your son will be addicted. Happy Geocaching!
