I was just wondering what other like to find in geocaches. I know Geocoins and TB's are probably the most popular answer, but what If I wanna fill up an ammo can with goodies without going broke...........what would you like to see in the cache?

I'm new here so I was just wondering why some folks always want to be the first to find a cache? Is there usually a special gift in the cache for the first one to find it?

I picked up a Megellan Meridian platinum for under $140.00 on that famous auction site. It's a little larger than the new Megellan series but it works great. I think it does really well under tree cover also. Can't tell you much about how it works in a hot air balloon though.

I'm new to this but I think I would be dissapointed to find a picture of a coin rather than the real thing.

I don't yet have my own coin, but I'm working on it right now. I plan on putting some out and see what happens. I know I'm hearing that alot of them are being collected or sold which is not right. I can see if you bought the coin and decided to keep it, but finding an activated coin in a cache should be logged and moved along. I guess that's just not the rule with some people.

Spring and Fall.....Love to be outdoors during those seasons.
